Test driving is a lot of fun and test driving a vehicle in Pittsburgh is even better. Give me a destination and I’ll give you all the best ‘back roads’ to travel on. Over the last week I have traveled far and wide all over our great city testing out the Hyundai 2017 Elantra Limited.
Is this a vehicle for a family? How does the Hyundai 2017 Elantra Limited handle the roads? Can you carry ice hockey bags in the trunk and if you can how many? I mean after all these are all typical questions you would ask a Pittsburgh Ice Hockey mom right? Are the seats heated?
How do the lights work on those dark, back roads that were awesome drives during the day? I can answer all those questions and more as we take a quick look at the Hyundai 2017 Elantra Limited. Lavishly live my adventure of around Pittsburgh in a Hyundai 2017 Elantra Limited and what features were perfect for us!
Hyundai 2017 Elantra Limited
I was quite happy to be given the opportunity to drive and learn more about the 2017 Hyundai Elantra. All opinions are my own, as are the images, this is my story.
The Interior of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited
You all know I drive a huge SUV, because I have a three kids and anything else seemed impractical to me. I always wonder how successful I will be at trying out other vehicles and sharing the love. Honestly, this is so different from driving an SUV I won’t even attempt to compare.
Things I Love about the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Ltd
Heated Driver Seats, Blind Spot Detection, Sunroof and a power driver’s seat that offers lumbar support (driving for any period of time takes its toll on the back and I am out a lot! Automatic high beams are also a true plus because you won’t be shining your high and mighty beams in anyone’s eyes as it adjusts easily!
How To Save A Marriage (and I jest)
The luxury of what I am about to share is something that is fought about over and over when your partner takes your car. This is an awesome feature…. drumroll……the Integrated Memory System – simply put, this remember my seat settings and the alternate driver’s settings so there is no fighting about who switched who’s seat!
Keep The Tushies Warm and Don”t Worry About The Cold
Yeah, I love a warm behind and back and it just moves through my body. Cold mornings, cold nights all create the need for me to crank the heat, but instead, I allow the car to heat as I drive and I just put on my heated seats. A little bonus in our limited Elantra… the back seats have heaters as well and the kids LOVED on them as we went down into the low 40° recently.
My Thoughts on The Elantra Limited
With one child that is about 6’2″ and still just beginning to grow, I can not tell you that the backseat is really a great place for him, if the front seat is already full as there is no leg room. I do believe that he it is a great family vehicle if the kids are not in their growth spurt or with really long legs.
The gas mileage on this is awesome even with all our hills, and braking. 29/38 Est City/Hwy. We filled the car up for $20 Ha.. I have never done that in my SUV, even with gas points from the grocery store.
Lavishly live life out loud with the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited. Make sure to check out all my videos as well.
