Cutie Cakes
Did you ever want just to have a bite of a cupcake and not take a bite out of the cupcake? Often I will see a cupcake and think to myself “wow that looks so delicious” however I would not dare indulge myself in it as it would not be really great for my lifestyle. In order to satisfy my pang for cupcakes I decided to try something called cutie cakes.
Cutie cakes are just what they sound like they’re cute little cakes. It is basically a cupcake that is made up of four small cupcakes and you can indulge yourself and just one bite.
Cutie Cakes are so easy to make let’s look at the 3 Easy Steps To Cutie Cakes.
#1 Buy the Cutie Cake Pan From Love Baking Company
Hello there, a baker is only as good as his/her tools of the trade and this is the little beauty that is going to kick that big fat cupcake to the curb and introduce you to Cutie Cakes! Isn’t she a beaut?
You can get your pan at the Love Cooking Company and you can start using it right away. The pans ship quick and make baking a breeze! Since these are non-stick you will really appreciate cleanup and make sure to see my photos below for how awesome these turn out and come out of the pan!
#2 Choose Your Cake Mix
Create your cupcakes with any cake mix you prefer according to the directions and ingredients. Prep your pan, making sure to thoroughly mist the pan with nonstick spray, bake, cool and then get ready for your Cutie Cake.
#3 Ice and Enjoy
These are chocolate as you can see from the mixture and the icing is Salted Caramel. I wish you could have tasted these, so YUM!
Here are a few things you want to know about Making Cutie Cakes. Don’t doubt that the pan is non-stick, here is for all of your doubter! My before and after shot. Those little cuties just pop right out of there, see!
Thoroughly hit that pan with Non-Stick before you begin.
Here is what I did wrong on my First batch, so you can see, and Yes I make mistakes when I prepare food, so it is good to see how this should and should not look, you know Dana Instructions.
Here I have a photo of it done properly and not done properly so that you can learn from my mistakes. Do not overfill the better because overfilling the batter will create overflow on the pan not a larger cupcake. These are cutie cakes and you do not need a lot of cake batter in each little mold. Take your time to get this right.
Before you know it you will have perfect little cutie cakes. My figuring on this is that if you eat for little cutie cakes you have eaten entire cupcake so if you just want to bite of a cupcake and you need to only indulge in one cutie cake. These bake very quickly so keep an eye on the timer. Cutie Cakes are fabulous, and so lavish for those family parties that you might be having where you want the smaller cupcakes so that everybody can have just a bite and move onto the next food item. Now you know the 3 easy steps to cutie cakes. What is your favorite icing?
