Spring has sprung and family travel might be on your mind. For those of you with ever-changing families, full-size SUV’s may not be in your near future. However, many families opt for a Crossover.

Chevrolet has a family crossover that is perfect for your family. In fact, there are great ranges of paint hues and plenty of interior space. Whether you have tweens turning into teens, have elementary children and car seats, or just want a vehicle with better space, this crossover will captivate you.

One thing you do need to realize is that your family and lifestyle change with each passing year. Kids grow as do their bodies and with that different activities and travel happen. When you consider your next vehicle, make sure you look at the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. Want a bit more insight? Here are 5 things to know about the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox.

5 Things To Know About The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox

The trained consumer is a gift to society.  Do not go to a dealership for a vehicle until you have done a little reading, and investigating your potential dream car. I mean, no big purchase should ever be bought without a little background check.

What you want to know most about the future car you might purchase is all about the size, cargo space, and color. Additionally, MPG and amenities round out the want list.

1. The Interior

Starting here shows you room to grow, I mean, the size of the interior is generally appointed. Great for starting a family, car seats, elementary school kids and of course TEENS. Leg space abounds, and you still have a nice cargo area. Check the Chevrolet Equinox out at your local Chevrolet Dealership to really sit and stretch in it.

2. Cockpit

Driving is a big responsibility and the fact that the vehicle offers a dual -cockpit design is an integral safety build in (IMO).  This dual-cockpit design features an integrated center stack, anything you need is right within your hands reach. Do not take your eyes off the road, no need to, just move your hand and use what you need. Safety is number one!

3. Cargo

Shopping is a full-time job and often your hands are sure to be loaded with groceries, bags, etc. The Chevy Equinox offers an available hands-free gesture liftgate! All you do is wave your foot below the cargo space and it will open.

4. Low Spaces, No Problem- Open that liftgate!

In other vehicles when your trunk cargo area opens you might scrape ceiling or hit the garage door opener. Hello to this new innovation: a programmable memory height that you set and then forget! No worries about scraping the ceiling with the trunk again!

5. Seats Split

Room to store, pack, travel and haul sports gear is what you will find inside of the Chevy Equinox. You can do a 60/40 split-folding rear seat which folds flat. When you change up this formation you create 63.5 cubic feet of cargo space. That is some serious hauling capacity!
