Having a cat has required things I never had really paid much attention to before, but now it all really matters. Bella our kitty is such a special little girl and we rescued her from a shelter. We want her life to be as perfect a possible as we feel she suffered too much already in this life, being captured, locked up and filled with sickness for the first ten months of her life. Her story is like so many others out there and of course so many that we will never know about. My only focus now is taking care of our adopted fur baby Bella. I can’t imagine her life before having a home as the little box she was locked up in was loaded with sickness and she suffered for 3 months after we brought her home from infection and problems. Once we had Bella home our want to just spoil her grew with each little look she gave us, and we love our fur baby! Our love is boundless and the want for her to be very happy and comfortable has left me seeking out a few things she might enjoy. Lavishly live life out loud with a kitty in the house requires a cat tent.
As I traversed shelter to shelter, seeking out the right kitten for our home, I learned a lot. I was out everyday for almost weeks, looking and looking for the potential Kitten that would grace our home. I watched what the cats would jump into, I learned about scratching posts, attitudes, toys, cat litter, cat boxes, and other oddities. A funny little tent that looked almost collapsible in nature seemed to be a favorite of all the cats and kittens we visited. I felt horrible every time I left a shelter and left cats and kittens behind, there are so many that need homes, but not all of them were ‘our cat’.
The tiny little living quarters the cats and kittens were in probably was the hardest thing to accept, but then, this tent, in so many of the shelters, looked like such a relief to so many of the different cats and kittens, I knew it must be something special. The Tents were the place that the cats and kittens went into to seek that refuge that they all really want when they are not being social. The pillows on the inside are kind to their bones and let them rest, all tufted and comfy, which is how it should be.
The bed on the inside boasts a wonderful inside cushion that is thick, rich and comfy, heck, I want to lay on it. The outside is a soft shell, that collapses pretty darn close to flat when you take the pillow insert out. The Bed Tent is machine washable, and after all the times that the kitten goes to the bathroom and then tracks back onto it, I feel relieved that I can offer it a warm wash to destroy that bacteria. Do make sure if you are going to wash this tent that you line dry it and do not put it in the dryer. These are perfect for placing in various rooms, and because the price is so frugal, it makes a few purchases possible.
Who would use this Tent Bed? Real small dogs or regular sized cats. It comes in so many different prints, that you can really get one to accessorize and match any room you are placing it in. I have seen our kitten retreat there on a daily basis since she received it and it is her time for solitude, a time when the kids know not to bother her, hold her, pet her, or be her sister or brother! The standing rule is, if Bella is in the tent, leave her alone, because she needs her space and sleep! The dimensions on this great functional tent are about : 14″ H x 16″ W x 16″ D. Lavishly let your cat live it up in a cat tent that offers comfort and seclusion, things that the kitties crave.
