It’pros getting closer and closer each day, and there is no holding back on decorating. The kids love to see the house all festive and I love quick accent pieces that make the difference. This year we have found some fabulous holiday decor that accents what we already have in place or in totes.
As I have been going through all of our holiday stuff I started to see we needed a few updates, but not on big things, just for accent pieces that would broaden the perspective and pop some color in each room. Fast and Easy
There is no time to decorate with kids, holidays, activities, events and work, so whatever I do has to mesh with my schedule. Accent pieces usually take a painstakingly large time to figure into a room scheme, but not today.

Piano Gatherings
Let’s take a look room by room. Our piano generally sits plainly during the holiday season and it truly is a place we spend time singing to carols and playing music. This needed a little life to it and I popped color Poinsettia Garland.
The Fireplace
The fireplace holds the stockings but honestly it holds a bit more. We have conveniently interlaced a lovely Count Down Stocking Garland and when Santa arrives he will take it down and fill the stockings. I love the look
Get Long Arms
There is nothing like a small plush to enliven a room and I got them. I ordered Holiday Plush with Long Arms assorted, as well as Plush Long Arm Elves, and Reindeer with hooves. If I choose to the arms interlock with velcro. Trust me, if Santa’s elves tell Santa about the toss across they are used for, Santa might not stop.. boy’s just saying… or maybe that is why they look so jolly.
I love this look in our one sitting room and the kids love it too. In fact sometimes they are flying reindeer because the kids have a blast with them!
