Can Kids Make This Dip?
If you let your kids use a mixer, YES!.
I will caution you that this can NOT be mixed by hand so a mixer is involved.
However, if you have a blender, you could use that as well!
Many kids use mixers in homes, so, your the boss, your call!
Do I Need to Keep Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Refrigerated?
YES! 100x Yes.
Cream cheese can grow unhealthy bacteria on it after 2 hours on the counter without refrigeration.
Additionally, the butter in the product really needs to be refrigerated as well!
Chocolate Chip Dough Dip & Other Ingredient Options
So, I’ve experimented with a lot of different ingredients to make this healthier, LOL.
Really, it’s a dessert so there is no healthy going on here.
However, if you prefer less sugar in it, swap out the confectioners sugar for sugar-free you can do that as well.
(Sugar-free would be your favorite sugar, processed in a coffee mill until powder-like resemblance to powdered sugar)
Naturally, you can sub Swerve Swerve Brown Sugar for the brown sugar.
Your recipe, using that advice and change of ingredients is now with less sugar!
For those that are used to less sugar, you will never know the difference.
Honesty: my kids HATE the taste when I cut the sugar out, so, I just make this dessert for them this way.
That said, I make my own as discussed above!
Cookie Dough Dip
What do I serve cookie dough dip with?
Cookie dough dip is great on graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, biscotti, and berries.
However, it tastes down-right delish on your fingers too, lol!
Make sure to give everyone their own scoop or spreading knife so you don’t have cross-contamination and no double-dipping!
Pulling The Dip Together
Honestly, if it takes 5 minutes, that is about it to pull this dip together.
I do recommend making it before dinner and while you are eating let it in the refrigerator.
Why? It gives it just the right spreadability factor, IMO!
