The holidays are all about over-indulging, talking, snacking, drinking, and then repeating it all again. In many cases we spend a few days in a row with family and friends, gorging, drinking, stuffing our faces with foods we should not and then resting. The lack of physical activity and the continual food-to-the-mouth syndrome serves us up as stuffed turkeys. We seem to develop a holiday hangover and the best cure for what is ailing us is Holiday Hangover Soup!
Chances are your stomach is not the only thing that is suffering from bloating and most likely your refrigerator is over-stuffed as well. During the holiday gatherings, our worst enemy is an over-packed fridge and our best friend and a pair of pants that offers an elasticized-waistband that easily expands to the bloating our stomach is suffering from. It would seem that the very thing that makes us feel uncomfortable is the thing that will cure you. Lavishly live the holidays out loud and create this delicious recipe for Holiday Hangover Soup while you make your belly feel better and your fridge feel lighter.
