With a great holiday weekend in front of us, choosing what to do might be pretty difficult as everyone wants to run in a separate direction. While the lines at the store may be massive there are other ways to jingle all the way through this festive season including catching up on movies, new releases, or premieres and cooking! If you have family and friends coming I have a few great recipes for you to try out and if you want to go out, a few lavish suggestions! Are you ready to lavishly live the holidays out loud and enjoy every last minute?
Sweep, clean and clean up from the holiday, that’s right because you want to clean up from that paper-spewing thing called Christmas. In our house, balls of wadded paper run rampant through our Great Room and the clean up must begin. Boxes, bags and careful sifting through all those wads to make sure the kids have not tossed out gift cards by accident. Then the fun comes, it’s time to sweep up and clean up those dishes and the garage. The weather left us with a bit muddiness so we are sweeping out in preparation of a house filled with friends.
As for heading out, my personal pick this holiday season is Into The Woods, after all it is a family movie, rated PG13 and offers smashing celebs like Meryl Streep, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, and & Emily Blunt, this just is going to be THE movie of the holiday and my guess year!
Let’s not forget about the festivities and the great drink offerings you might serve to your guests. I love WENTE Wines. In my house they are top shelf, top choice and always served chilled(ok, once in a while not::))
If you received a tablet, you might be looking for great storage for that tech, and I love M-Edge. They have the greatest cases that have innovative tech built in. Dress that tech up with fashionable accessories that are cutting edge.
As for food, remember that if you are off and traveling to friends and family you might want to bring along some great foods and ALDI offers great ingredients that create fabulous recipes. Here are a few that I created: Cheesecake, Brookie and of course a smashing Apple Pie! None of them will cost too much to create but they sure do make cooking lavish!
Lavishly live the holidays out loud and enjoy great technology, movies, foods, and of course fashion for your tech, with all of my great finds! Happy Holidays and enjoy your time with your guests!
