With back to school rounding the corner, it’s time to start thinking about how I want my dorm room to be decorated. A lot of things come to mind when I’m thinking about decorating my room but one thing was at the top of my list.
Kallie here, and I am gonna take over my mom’s blog for today because Back To School is here and I have some insider’s scoop to help all those college bound who read this blog!
For the longest time, I’ve wanted a tapestry for my room, but not just any plain tapestry, I wanted something that screamed…me. So, I hunted and searched the internet, I Googled and looked for a tapestry that was laid back, but cool. It’s all about the feeling that you give your dorm room, and if it is not comfortable you just can not settle in.
As I head back into my dorm, I want to share with you what you need to order. It comes quick, so even if your walls are bare, give it a few days, and you will have a new tapestry. This is how I lavishly live dorm room living out loud and how a tapestry changes dorm room walls.
How A Tapestry Changes Dorm Room Walls
Oh my, the rooms in the dorms look like hospital blah walls and that just has got to change. I feel like I am a sardine packed in white walls and living in an insane asylum with the ugly plain look.
Step One, stop looking at bare wals and head straight to Deny Design and find a tapestry.
Step Two: look for something that you would love to be entranced by when you are studying, something that sets you at ease.
Step Three: Don’t worry about matching, because anything goes with WHITE WALLS, lol!
I can’t believe it is legal to have ugly white walls, fashion them up!
When I found the “ The Bay Tapestry” on DENY Designs website I knew I needed it in my dorm room. This is how I lavishly live life out loud, with DENY Designs Tapestries!
As I said, back to school is just around the corner. For me and I’m sure for many other college students this means that it’s time to think a little bit about what we want the place were going to be spending most of our time in, to look like.
When I was thinking about things I’d like to see in my dorm every day, the one theme I love the most popped into my head…beach theme. I knew as soon as I thought about it that I just had to have a beach themed tapestry to add to my room’s decorations.
Don’t DENY Yourself A Good Looking Dorm Wall
Luckily DENY designs had the most perfect beach themed tapestry, titled “The Bay” by Bree Madden. What I love about this tapestry is how absolutely simple, yet extravagant the picture is. It’s sure to bring a bright, exciting, vibe to my room and I’m so excited to put it up! You can get it in Small, which is 50”x60” or Medium, which is 60”x80”.
I opted for the smaller size due to the fact that I knew it would take up a lot of wall space and I wanted room for other various decorations. Upon opening the package, I touched the material and absolutely loved the feeling, its sot, lightweight, and the color on the tapestry itself is absolutely astonishing.
Not only is the quality of the product fantastic, but the prompt arrival was an added plus too! I couldn’t be more excited to get this up in my room!
My personal thanks again to DENY Designs for this awesome tapestry, no more white wall living for me.
The tapestry folds small for storage year to year.
The tapestry is easily hung with a few 3M clips which don’t ruin walls.
Add a solar light strand above the panel to illuminate it.
Do not wash this, simple shake it out.
When You are done with it, pass it on, or you can always frame it and have all your college friends sign it!
