Hello Fall and Winter and goodbye flip flop season! The first time I put jeans on and lace a leg carefully into the pant hole I just have a moment of inner-saddness because shorts are so easy.  Jeans cover up, change up and remind me that the warm breezy days of summer have moved on and won’t be around for a while and then suddenly I find a new warmth because I know how to be weather smart with fashion! The days of Fall and Winter might bring, rain, sleet, ice or snow, but my feet will never ever know, because I know the trick of how to be weather smart with fashion. Foot-by-foot and leg-by-leg I suit up in my favorite jeans and then my feet meet warmth and what feels like summer climate conditions as they are wrapped inside of  a pair of booths that are part of a weather resistent collection.  As I finish dressing for the day, I know that whatever polar air is tossed my way, my feet will be warm like chesnuts roasting on open fire, as I lavishly live fashion out loud!

How To Be Weather Smart With Fashion

Stepping out into 30 degree weather is surely no treat for myself or my feet and add in a bit of snow, or rain and well you have the perfect mix of disgusting weather that Pittsburgh sees a lot of! Bad weather is not going to rain on my parade, nor is it going to strip me of fashion.  I have Polarair on my side.  Wait, did I just say I am happy about Polarair? Yes I did. However the Polarair I am talking about is hardly cold, instead it is a warmth that will cradle your feet in warmth.

White Mountain Shoes

The boots have a great bottom tread, Scotch Guard protection from the elements and they can fold up or down to make a completely different statement. I will tell you that I would NEVER fold these down because I am more a traditional boot wearer and I love where these fall on my leg. Jeans can be cuffed big, small, or just left to hang and leggins tuck in easily.

The heel cradles your foot and the comfort level in the sole of the shoe is amazing.  I like that my heel does not swish all over as it is firmly anchored into the heel, making it much more supportive for wear.  The boots are weather resistant meaning that rain and sleet are not going to mar your suede and the bottom offers some good traction without heaviness.

Check out the bit of sweater-like material built into the boot it’s just beckoning you to pair it up with jeans and a long merino wool sweater for those cool days.  The accent on the sole of the shoe in black lets you pull an outfit together that has darker colors on it while comfortably coordinating with the boot! No fashion mash-ups here, this is an altogether rockstar boot!

The color of Chestnut is versatile, the faux fur is totally crushin’ comfortable and you can wear these with or without boot socks. Are you read to be weather smart with fashion?
