I see it from across the room, a quick moving black and white figure, but all of the sudden the dark shadow disappears. The next thing I hear is scratch, scratch, purr, and then I see Bella The Cat. Bella moves like lightening from place to place and before I know it she is right on my lap begging for a rubdown, a quick scratch and a bit of love. Since she has stopped by my lap I gently lift her and bring her to the her table and grab her favorite brush, so that I can help take a bit of that loose hair off of her. Thankfully today I was here to give Bella the love she is looking for and craving but some days I can’t be here. My little Bella the cat really loves to scratch and she loves a good brushing and I have the solution for both. Here’s how to help your cat scratch and let them lavishly live self-grooming out loud.
This is by far one of the coolest little items Bella has tested out. I do believe it is perfect for scratching as well as massaging, but I do not believe it will eliminate shedding or make a home hair-free.
Are the bristles on the Purrfect Arch really stiff and hurtful? No, in fact they are really soft, and feel good against the hand. Bella has walked through here over and over to just rub up against the durable bristles.
The base is sturdy and does not tip over and it has carpet on it, which Bella loves to dig her nails into and scratch away.
The put together was really simple on this Purrfect Arch, I just attached the bristles, and it was all set to go. I did not add catnip, because Bella was immediately attracted to the bristles so it was not necessary. You do have the option to add catnip to the base of this or just sprinkle it onto the carpet. DO I believe this will stop shedding or stop the cat hair you find around the house? Not at all, but I do believe that our Bella loves to use this as a place to scratch, and to massage herself when I am not available.
