The leaves are crunchy, the sun is shining, the wind is just ever-so-light, it is a day that is beckoning me to step outside. I toss on my favorite jeans, a long sweater, make sure my kids are in their hoodies to shield them from the light breeze and we set outdoors to take in the beautiful Autumn Day. The real quest is not the places we will venture today, but the shoes that will adorn my feet. I want to keep the fashion as whimsically compelling as the day, as casual as the ground we are walking on and yet sassy with a little bronzed hue. The footprints and tread marks I will leave in the grass today are How I Step Into Fall Style. It’s time to lavishly live Autumn out loud with a new fashion chapter!
My life is all about my kids and if they want to go outside, I want to be there. Time is so short and everyday is a blessing, so I make sure that I give all I can and that we enjoy one another. Watching kids play outside, toss footballs, dig up the garden, or capture bugs is such a fantastic way to watch your kids turn into little people. My children are growing up fast, so the times that they suggest an outdoor adventure, or a hike, I saddle up my feet and away we go. Today’s adventure was not about going far, more about gathering items for Fall projects that they had to complete for school.
My battle with Plantar fasciitis has left me limping around in a cast and on a rare occasion that I ditch my cast and place my inserts into shoes, I make sure the shoes fit the outing. Today, I threw caution to the wind, and test drove a pair of Sirocco’s because they are supposedly known for their comfort, arch support and by broods of people that suffer from Plantar fasciitis. So is this bootie and brand the ticket to helping me style out again in two shoes rather than being the Air Cast Queen? Yes it is, ride em’ cowgirl. (yes I am a little snarky today)
You know me as that shoe junkie who would rather start building an outfit from the shoe up, than start the opposite way. I don’t do junk shoes, as I learned long ago, if you treat your feet right, they will treat you to many fun steps (pun intended, ROLF!). If you are looking for cheapie shoes wrong blog, cause this girl is not about that, I am about the lavish, the luxury and all about the quality of what is going on my feet.
Honestly I love boots with Western flair but so many just don’t look right on me. Rather than kick in the bucket and not own a pair, I found these amazing, booties called Sirocco from a company after my own shoe-loving heart: Naot.
We gathered up everything they needed and then I thought that it was the perfect time to share a most amazing brand of shoes with you so you can learn my secret of how to step into fall style this season. The shoe brand I am about to share with you have been seen on Fox, TODAY, E!, accompanying Taylor Swift on stage, and on Law and Order SVU and they are not only trendy but quite classic. Every Naot shoe is handmade with the quality raw materials and advanced design for comfort.
My feet need to be comfortable to keep up with the kids, because their adventures know no bounds and I live to adventure, explore and enjoy life through their eyes, as it makes life just a bit more special. My shoes, the Sirocco offers a bit of western flair accompanied by subdued hues of bronze and gold, making a statement all on its own. You know I am all about the bouncy and liveliness of a shoe and this shoe lights up the path of life.
Not only does Naot offer my path a bright new way to walk, but it offers over 15,000 pair of Naot shoes and sandals to local charities each year, bringing joy and happiness one step at a time.
Seriously these boots are so me, they celebrate adventure, fashion, liveliness and the trifecta of colors that reign supreme on shoes. Sirocco is part of the Aura Collection from Naot. Volcanic Brown, Bronze Gold With a Gold and Brown Sole.
Hello style, beautiful skies and look out walking trails and anything in my way, I am about to strut it out with these saucy little booties! Sirocco, Western flair booties that have a vintage, yet classic look. I love that gold, the stitching and well the bronze on there. Mmmm these are just one treat for the feet you can’t miss!
The zipper is easy to use, and the finger loop helps me saddle on in, but what I think I like the best about the Sirocco bootie is the contrasting leather colors. True to my personality, there are levels of color, levels of personality and this bootie reaches deep into my fashion soul, offering a comfort beyond the norm in a bootie. The lining on the insides offers warmth and is moisture absorbing, but you won’t find fur(lol).
I removed this anatomic cork and latex foot-bed which is wrapped in leather and molds right to the shape of the boot because I wanted you to see it and celebrate it!
Take a look at the Sirocco from the side. This bootie offers a 1.5″ polyurethane sole with a metal shank and it is REALLY lightweight or it would not be on my feet! The pull loop helps me in and out of the boot with ease. The arch support is correctly distributed the elevated foot-bed center of the insole releases pressure in the joins of the center part of the foot so no soreness after wear or during.
This collection uses a hand-sewn stroble construction making it strong and extremely flexible in addition to creating a very LIGHTWEIGHT shoe, after all who wants to have to haul around more weight on their body? Not me!
The inside of my shoe padding, offers a latex sponge layer, which is soft and very comfortable for the bottom of your ped. Each step is met with wonderful flexibility, durablity and shock absorption. This is a blend of cork and latex which create the wonderful, soft walking cushion.
Just as the gold fades to bronze and the bronze fades to Volcanic Brown, this is where my story begins to fade away too. We began to lose daylight as we frolicked through the trees, gathering fun things for their school projects and as time passed, I kind of forgot I had on booties, that is how comfortable they were. We were outside walking for over 3+ hours and these were super comfortable!
I am planning on waterproofing them with spray, and my guess is that will darken the hues just a bit, but I am going for it, because I have the feeling these are about to be the “boots that are meant for walkin‘” as Nancy Sinatra might say. I have found comfort, arch support as well as heel support and a lot of style with the Sirocco and best of all, a bootie that matches my vibrant zest for life. No lame colors, no dismal basics here, just knowing how to step into fall fashion with the right look.
