Hunting: See and Stay Powered

October 22, 2014 By Dana Vento Leave a Comment

Hunting season is here and my family has packed up their hunting gear, tightened up their boots, and scouted their areas thoroughly for the best spot to hunt.  It’s not all about the hunt, but also about the preparation and the things you have with you that can make all the difference in the true hunting experience.  Today’s feature items are those that will help you see and stay powered up when hunting because you need both in order to stay on task. Before you bare those firearms, and backpacks, make sure you have the stuff that can back you up and make things a bit more clear.  Lavishly live hunting out loud with an external battery and monocles that will have you seeing clearly it takes tech and fashion to get the hunting crew prepared for a long trek outside!

The Powered Up Prophecy Fulfilled: Hunting – ANKER Down!

So staying powered up is not just for the Power Rangers series that is on tv, rather it is for those that go hunting and bring along the tech for those less than lustrous moments where no game is passing by and when your day is passing too slowing, yet sleep is not on the option list. Those phones we all tote, those smartphones suck power and if you have it looking for WiFi, let multiple Apps open or even multi-task you are driving that battery right away from your phone and you will soon be left with no power. Now imagine you used your phone to navigate to a specific coordinated spot you marked into your GPS via coordinates on your phone and the trek back to the vehicle is dependent on a smartphone that no longer has power! (night in the woods anyone, where the hunter becomes the hunted, lol!) Solution: The ANKER external battery!

Anker is the leader in the power category offering a wide range of products including chargers and external batteries. Their products are the only on the market to offer PowerIQ technology, which ensures the fastest possible charge to any mobile device.  Anker’s 2nd Gen Astro E4 13000mAh External Battery with PowerIQ™ Technology offers supersized power in the palm of your hand! Packed with 13000mAh of juice, froming camping to hunting, the Astro E4 is perfect for any outdoor adventure, giving you the power you need to stay connected even miles away from a charging outlet. This external battery can multiple your battery life to keep you powered on for days with enough charge to feed your smartphone 3-6 times (depending on its battery size), just put slip this power pack in your pocket and leave your charging troubles behind.

What happens from Anker’s PowerIQ Technology?  The Anker’s PowerIQ tech identifies your device and then speaks to it with tech languauge it needs in order to charge it the fastest it possibly can so you are not without power.  The great things about these external batteries is that they are universal and the languages they speak are as well, so charge any device!

How To Charge – Power

How To Charge: Power the ASTRO E4 by plugging in the Micro USB that comes with it into an AC adapter or into a computer USB port.  The battery automatically stops charging when it is fully charged. You will also know how much charge the Astro E4 has on it via the blinking light value:  i.e- first light blinking – <25%, first light on, second light blinking 25%-50% and so on.

Bonus Note: Most of us roam around with multiple devices, so fear not, you can charge more than one device at a time on with this external battery!

How to Charge your smartphone or tablet  with the Astro E4? Simply plug the USB power  cable into the charging port and the other end to your device.  When the device is done charging, the Astro E4 auto-off’s.  This unit comes with a carry sack and a USB charging cable.

Let Me See A Bit More Clearly Without Readers When Hunting NEARSIGHTS

Now that you can stay powered up, let’s help you see things more clearly when hunting and that is a job for Nearsights.  Nearsights offers classic eyewear for both men and women, but they are most practical and very convenient rather than toting glasses everywhere! My husband is not wanting to tote around his readers so how can he see that smaller stuff, and check on work while he is out?  Get ready to Monocle. My guys are leaving their readers at home and taking their Ruggedized Tactical Monocles with them. Sporting the latest in trending eye fashion when hunting.

These are the first and only Ruggedized Tactical Monocle(RTM) for those with a very active lifestyle that require reading help even when in their most wild, extreme conditions: hunting, camping, jogging, skiing, swimming.  These are all places where toting those lovely little readers around really just does not work because of environment. The RTM’s are your answer to fashion and sight! The RTM’s are just as rugged as your environments with a polycarbonate lens protected by a 5mm thick custom-molded silicone frame and the lens is held in via a stainless ball chain.  The RTM’s are 100% waterproof(no pins and frames to worry about!- no fragility here!) Now for the best news, the RTM’s are available in multiple diopters making them an option for everyone, not just the select few.

Lavishly live the great outdoors out loud with advanced technology, rugged fashion and innovative ideas that let you stay out on the hunt while having all your needs readily met.  Need more great ideas for hunting gear? Make sure to check out other lavish living posts that include footwear!
