Long ago, in a village not so far away, were the grandparents of my grandparents who made traditional Italian foods interesting, yet simple. Who ever said you needed to add so much to the sandwich that you begin to lose flavor and then ease of preparation.
My grandmother the queen of all Italian food taught me one thing: keep it simple, let the true flavors arrive and don’t add too much. Our family loves sandwiches, actually called “Gweeches” if you are old school, traditional ‘Italian’ and we are quite creative while keeping it real.
Lavishly live food out loud, dig into an Italian Ciabatta Sandwich and enjoy the simple taste that delivers big!
