Did you ever notice how the most elaborate recipes often just end up mediocre when you are rushing to get other things done and paying half the attention to something that needed your full attention. Sometimes, the more lavish the more outlandish and often the solution is to just simplify! My family could eat 24/7 after all I have a house loaded with teens and a large Italian Family that loves food more than each other (I am kidding, just a little Italian humor here!). Cooking is an endless task and I get quite creative. Long ago, when I was a chef in my own restaurant I prepared the recipe I am about to share with you. There are two ways to make this, fried or baked and for this recipe as presented today my recipe is baked. Here’s how to make Potato Balls that will offer up magnificent taste without hanging you up in the kitchen, as you lavishly live food out loud, while sitting and enjoying at your Super Bowl Party! The Potato Ball recipe will make a lot of food without having to really put in a lot of effort and that’s lavish living!
Prep for Potato Balls
One large Mixing Bowl
One Pizza Stone(for baking)
One Plate for the Olive Oil
Small bowl to hold breadcrumbs
2 Cups of Instant Potatoes(pick any flavor you want!)
1 container of Ricotta Cheese(15 oz) Do Not Drain
1/4 C of Parmesan Cheese
1 Cup of Bread Crumbs(seasoned are better)
1/4 C Olive Oil
How To Make Potato Balls
Place your potatoes and ricotta in a bowl, add a sprinkle of bread crumbs from the 1 cup(skimp on this because you don’t want to dry the batter out). Mix these ingredients together well. Add your Parm cheese, the consistency should look like this.
Roll into little balls and then quickly roll through the olive oil and then quickly through the breadcrumbs.
The recipe is so easy to make, you will love the taste and your crowd will inhale them. Make sure to bake these until they are golden brown. The Olive Oil crisps them up. Cheese sauce is great for dunking, but remember these are already heavy on their own as they are potatoes. Watch these come together from beginning to end right HERE. Lavishly live the Super Bowl out loud with this fabulously easy-to-create recipe.
