We have been from ice hockey to shopping and then to more work events and it has just been a whirlwind of activity. While I am one who never shies away from events and gatherings and I say the more the merrier sometimes I just have to step back and wind down.
Shopping, running and keeping family ties strong during the holiday preparations are so important. You have to make the kids feel important and loved, and you have to remember your partner needs you too. It’s not easy running a home, a family, and a life and then getting everything in order for the big holidays that are up and coming.
Hey Pittsburgh, do you know how to wind down before the holidays? Lavishly live life out loud and get my secret for winding down before the holidays in a very trending spot.
The Secret Of Winding Down Before The Holidays In Pittsburgh
Yes, our night was hosted, but all that means is that we dined and it was provided in exchange for my honest feedback. Why do I choose to partner up with the Airport Marriott in Pittsburgh is because I have learned that the best-kept secrets in Pittsburgh are where to dine.
As a travel writer, I know that the best restaurants are often right in the hotels nearby or the one you are in. From value in pricing to food presentation, the Airport Marriott Pittsburgh really offers an amazing culinary experience.
The experience is ripe for both the advanced palate as well as the non-experienced palate. Chefs Matt, Dave & Joe are culinary experts and each contributes on a different level creating awesome food in a great, environment.
I feel blessed as dining there we have really gotten to know the Chef’s and Matt know my food preferences and my families’ as well. The Chefs care about their food, the presentation, and the taste. Just show up and I know you will love the restaurant as well and the nice part is it is just far enough away from the mall to be out of the traffic but close enough to be right back at it after you eat!
Fall Menu At Pittsburgh Airport Marriott
Our menu tonight was the new fall menu with the exception of my son with severe food allergies who enjoyed something else (I will share that in a moment).
Garlic Sausage with Braised Red Cabbage
Black Garlic Spatzle, Chicken Schnitzel and Spaghetti Squash with San Marzano Sauce
Bratwurst with Roasted Brussel Sprouts
While you might assume that is all there is on the menu, that is just the Fall Menu, and there is a whole other Traditional menu you can order from. We alerted the restaurant about my son’s dining allergies and he was able to eat wings and pasta accompanied with a salad. It was nothing short of Fantabulous. He is so limited at many restaurants but the Chefs here worked to feed him and he had his wish come true “Wings”
Don’t Forget The Drinks
JR. makes great drinks, so don’t forget to order one. A great way to just wind down before the holidays. This was my Margarita and honestly fabulous.
