You only get one chance to treat your skin right, so proper skin care is essential. How you choose to cleanse and nourish your skin is very individual, but there are a lot of products available to help you treat your skin right. The product I am about to present to you has not been discussed on other blogs because I was one of the few people given the privilege to test it out and as a truly groundbreaking tastemaker this makes me tingle with excited! Freya Skin Care offers an interesting twist on a skin care cleanser, but the question is, “is a bottled rejuvenating skin cleanser really worth $45?”
The skin care in this bottle has been passed on down from Scandinavian girl to Scandanavian girl and now it is our turn to try out their true and tested secret. The bottle of Freya Artic Cleansing Water was created to re-energize your skin and encourage blood flow, but does it work? Is the cleanser gentle as it claims or is it drying? Does this leave the skin beautifully refreshed and clean?
I asked my girl friend Michelle to give up her normal skin regime and test out this product for cleansing. Here is what Michelle had to say. “I was really interested in trying this product and I was curious as to how it feel on my skin after a few days as clearly, there is a big difference between oil and water. What I noticed first was the packaging. The bottle had a half-turn lid that opened up a hole so the water could easily be applied to the cotton ball or cotton pad. The first time I tried it, I didn’t realize how fast the water came out so the cotton pad was very saturated. I applied Freya Arctic Cleansing Water much like we have all been instructed to apply toner or astringent if you’re as old as me. There was a very very light smell to it that seemed pleasant but was so faint if it was unpleasant to someone, I don’t think they would notice.
Was there a reaction on her skin? There was no “skin reaction” from using Freya Arctic Cleansing Water; it didn’t have that cold tingling sensation nor that warm tingling feeling either, it felt like water, which I think is good. Now for the interesting part, I use oil to clean my skin so that I can skip the moisturizing part. I was using upwards of 7 products a day “maintaining” my face and it was becoming a hassle, that’s another reason I was interested in trying this product. All you do is wipe Freya Arctic Cleansing Water on your face, there is no need to rinse, scrub, rinse, pat dry – how easy is that?? I was a little nervous that it dried “tacky” the first time but when I was using the correct amount, that didn’t happen again. Now I will tell you one of the things I didn’t think about when I agreed to try Freya Arctic Cleansing Water; the fact that I don’t moisturize in the traditional sense. I don’t have facial moisturizer, and it honestly didn’t matter. I didn’t need any because my skin did not feel stripped or dry. It just felt like my normal every day moisturized skin. I think this would be great for all skin types from oily to dry.
I would use this product twice a day and the ease of just swiping a cotton ball across your face couldn’t possibly be more of a dream come true for the “non facial regimented” person. Truly easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!!”
There you have it, a product that is new, and easy to use and definitely worth stocking up in your cabinet!
