It’s Spring, and pit fires and grilling are huge in the season! We love this season because it screams “S’More” Here are a few easy recipe takes on these favorite, tasty treats, and they are frugal to prepare! Enjoy the outdoors and this great snack. You know, I think I read that if you at least step outside and breathe the air you can count that as 10 calories burned, do it a few more times and you can enjoy these guilt-free LOL!!!!!
These look so good, I can hardly wait to try this version of smores! I almost want to make them now and it is late at night while I am preparing this for you to read. What is most important are the tools you grab to make your S’MORES, the ingredients! Chocolate is a must, as are Graham Crackers and marshmallows, but did you know that melted marshmallow on a banana is really good as well?
If you can’t get to the firepit to roast marshmallows to make a S’MORE you can also microwave a marshmallow for about 10 seconds with a piece of chocolate and place it on a graham cracker to get a really great S’MORE treat as well, in about half the time, with so much less preparation and you can do these in bulk!
One of my favorite recipes is my S’MORE pie, when I make this I am sure to have a sellout crowd. I also often prepare S’MORE Smoothies which can’t be beat! The biggest challenge with a S’MORE Is what to have, a S’MORE Brownie, or a firepit S’MORE, A Baked Oven S’MORE or even a smoothie. The great part about a S’MORE is you can make them portioned which lets you eat just the right amount and not too much!
Remember, ingredients count, so don’t skimp on the chocolate bars and make sure you buy the BIG Marshmallows to get the most delicious, gooey S’MORES. I am waiting to hear from all of you with more recipes! Lavishly living S’MORES out loud!
