Becoming moms delivers us into territory unknown, and we want nothing but the best for our little babies. As a person who loves food, writes about food, prepares recipes, and has three children that I have actually taught a lot to about food and food preparation I really wanted to delve into this subject. This book reminds me so much of much of the LCHF that I am following, and it offers a lot of easy to prepare foods!

Information is priceless and when is delivered in the proper format you will learn and be able to embrace the changes into your current menu plans. So how does a first-time mom navigate through these muddied waters of learning how to make healthy and delicious recipes for both babies and toddlers. The key about this book is it’s not just for babies and toddlers. If you are trying to redo your eating lifestyle, this book is a must grab. You will learn information that is core to understanding food, the rules and how they apply to our body!
Would you like to be able to prepare your own baby food from your own kitchen and also know the nutritional content in it? Would you like to be able to shop for the proper groceries vegetables and produce that needs to go along with this preparation? Do you know that processed baby food is so much less nutritious than homemade baby food because when it’s processed the ingredients lose some of their essential nutrients. Also did you know that if you are cooking homemade foods for your children, your babies, your toddlers, you definitely should be using organic foods because they have less of those pesticides herbicides and growth hormones in them which are altering how are children are growing up!
With all of the aforementioned it is really important to get the right information on how to prepare and what to prepare for those babies and toddlers entering into a new life that prepares them for a lifetime ahead of fabulous food.
I really enjoyed reading The Best Baby Food because it is not only applicable to babies and toddlers but also to as children and adults as well. On page 13 you will find the top 20 offenders fruits and vegetables that contain the most pesticide residue which was interesting. Again, on page 15 led me to the “clean 15.” These offered the least contaminated fruits and vegetables from pesticides which is also quite interesting to see and learned that asparagus is very clean.
Clean eating also requires voiding the GMO’s from your current diet. Do you actually know which foods are genetically engineered? Page 17 does a great job of explaining how to avoid those GMO’s and wait to you see what falls under this list if you have never been exposed to this information before.
What you will learn from reading this book is the fact that during the babies first year it can actually take 6 to 10 attempts before a child will except a new flavor or a texture so keep on trying do not give up after the first attempt or the first few rejections. It is also important to strive to introduce a variety of foods nutritious ones into the babies diet during the first year because this will keep them from becoming a picky eater. In addition the book will discuss how to introduce solid foods to the babies diet and how to expand the babies taste in range of boots what you will find our simple recipes that will not take much time or much effort. Rather you will produce excellent food such as the Mediterranean fried egg plant on page 97 this is just hard to resist whether you are a baby toddler or an adult.
By making your own baby food from boots that are actually wholesome and really rich in nutrients you’re helping your children set the stage for a healthy well-balanced pattern of eating and living in their future. The book is a great read for anyone wanting to learn about more natural eating that is not GMO modified and about what foods you might actually consume to set the proper stage of mirror design. I loved this book because it give great opportunities to change up my current menus and add a few new recipes in.
