Our first trip to Niagara Falls was when I was a little girl. My dad decided we were going on a quick trip and a quick trip turned into a surprise over-nighter and a tour of Canada, as well as the falls. Yearning to go back, I did a bit later in life, in high school as part of the Marching Band. We spent 3 days at Niagara Falls and had a great time. As life move on, I got married, had kids and again traveled on back to Niagara Falls(U.S.) and enjoyed those famous Falls Rides in a boat taking in the oh-so-powerful Niagara Falls in all her glory very up-close. Just last year, we returned again, in the winter, with Niagara Falls FROZEN during an ice hockey tournament and well, the falls are beckoning us back again. This time we are going to be taking in things a bit differently, in fact we will be cruising on the water as part of the Niagara Sunset Cruises, where The Niagara Belle has just been given a Lavish overhaul of over $1 Million Dollars in renovation. Lavishly live life out loud with this great introduction to traveling to The Niagara Belle With Niagara Sunset Cruises.
Summer is all about the travel and where you can find the best of the best. Where is your next destination? Are you headed to Niagara Falls? Maybe you are going to be by Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario or in Lewiston, N.Y. Lavish living is about experiencing the best and dinner and wine cruises offer some of the most luxurious experiences you can find. You know I love cruising and the food so now cruising has a new aspect and it does not have to be as committal, just in case you don’t want to be gone for days. This is a cruise on the Niagara Belle which will be offering cruises to the general public for the FIRST TIME EVER this season and each is only a few hours, you pick the ambiance: dinner, wine tasting, or Sunday Brunch.
Niagara Sunset Cruises, is a sister company to the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours of Niagara-on-the-Lake and they have created the tours to the general public on the Niagara Belle. You will be able to wine, dine and experience the Niagara River. Did you know that the Niagara Belle used to operate as a cruise boat in Toronto Harbour on Lake Ontario and in the Upper Niagara River? Now with a more than $1 MILLION OVERHAUL she is ready and waiting to offer all of us cruises which will load in both on both sides of the Niagara River from docks in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont. and Lewiston, N.Y. Dinner cruises depart from both the Canadian and American docks, while lunch, wine tasting and a special Sunday Captain’s Cruise are offered from the Canadian side only.
What Will You See On The Niagara Belle
Get ready to experience the most beautiful scenery along the Niagara River: Fort Niagara, Fort George, General Brock’s Monument and the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge. Your taste-buds will soar as you dine or experience wine tasting all while on this excursion. You are not going to be jam-packed because this ship can accommodate up to 80 people for a seated dinner and about 140 for cocktail cruises.
I personally am quite excited to know that I Dinner cruises are three hours and we will be able to see the romantic sunset over Lake Ontario and enjoy a buffet-style dinner and fun time dancing. There are lunch cruises that are about 2 hours long and they also offer a buffet lunch and the Sunday Captain’s Cruise is just 2 hours long, and it features Surf and Turf(how Divine!). I might have to stick around a few days to make sure that I take in the Wine Tasting Cruise, after all what is life without a world-famous ice wine or a robust white that is crafted right on the shores of Niagara River in the heart of Ontario’s Wine Country, so Wine Flight becomes Wine Cruise-Honk, Honk, I’m IN!
Lavishly live travel to Niagara Falls and enjoy a fun cruise that will let you take flight(lol) or simply enjoy delicious food and time with your partner!
