Traveling via plane, train, car, bus or ship all require some travel comforts. Planning the trip ahead of time alleviates stress and if you can really plan ahead you will consider the environment in which will be traveling and plan accordingly.
After many extensive trips, there are some things that just have to be by my side so that I can have travel comfort. Travel comfort is those things that bring about comfort while heading to the beach or sitting in a seat while traveling to your destination. Let’s take a look at what travel comfort items you might want to consider for your next adventure so you can lavishly live travel out loud.
Travel Comfort
Think of the things you would most like to take with you then think about how to find them in small travel efficient sizes. Once you have that thought in your head, read on to learn what Travel Comfort items you will most want.
Catching a Few Zzzzzz’s
Have you ever conked out on a plane ride only to find your head on a stranger? Oh My! This is by far my worst nightmare but it plays out every day on flights. How do you solve the dilemma of sleep, flights, and shoulders of people you don’t know?
Grand Trunk has one of the most clever hooded travel neck pillows I have ever seen to date. Cover your head, gain privacy and no bobbing while you sleep. Get ready for adventure travel without using strangers shoulders for pillows. Drool in private, and keep the light out from the granny that reads and puts the light beams above your head. Sleep tight in flight! There is a small pocket to put in what you want, a drawstring to adjust the hood and a cord lock great for putting around luggage carryons!
Airport Floors To Beaches
I am a total germaphobe and airports makes me cringe. When our kids were little, they would want to sit on the floor and play cars and I just could not let it happen. We would walk and wlak until our flights came. Trays on the plane, well I sanitized them with my spray disinfectant, sorry y’all but this will make sense now.
This is my dream find from airport floors to sandy shores the Grand Trunk Parasheet. It’s lightweight, packable and has it’s own little pouch making it perfectly packable no matter where we go! From beaches (where we just shake it off and go) to the airport floors (the kids can sit on the ground now) we never worry about it. A side note, if you get cold on the plane or bus, or wherever you can wrap up in it for a bit of warmth as well.
Lavishly live travel out loud and get the travel comfort you deserve.

The hoodie pillow looks great and I just currently use a pair of shoulder pillows which we all have traditionally. I would look for the hoodie pillow and check if it available in my place. Next, the mattress is also a good thought. I always carry an extra mattress with me in case I want to sit on the floor. So, I will look for this mattress too. Thanks for sharing.
Love these items! They really could make riding a plane or bus for a long time more bearable. I saw this thing called a “Modobag” somewhere. Pricey, but I want one! A perfect addition to the items on this list.
That Grand Trunk Parasheet is really a good idea when travelling. I think I need to buy one myself. Thanks for these travel comfort tips!
I kinda wish there were more than two items in this article. I think both items are useful, especially the parasheet!

What I think that, if you carry eye mask when you travel, you might be more quiet to sleep.
Can’t really help it when I’m way too sleepy. Lol! I find the grand trunk very handy in this kind of situation, and I love picnic on the beaches!
Oh my! I can relate to the “head-bobbing-waking-up-with-head-on-a-stranger” thingy, hahaha. Really, its embarassing. So I do have that neck pillow now, guess I’ll have to try the parasheet, looks handy.
Like the idea of having that small blanket with you for beaches. This is a must also to always bring for comfort.
I’ve never really had a problem with the comforts that are provided when i travel however in regards to the blanket i would say that is a must for people traveling to the beach. One of the things i hate about going to the beach is getting sand everywhere.
I am learning a lot from your travel tips. I will keep those in mind and use them in the future.
Oooh a neck pillow with a hoodie! First time I saw one! That is a brilliant idea…you can partially hide your face while sleeping, eh?
