It seems like not so long ago the only way to really learn what was going on with your friends and family was to wait for a card, a photo or even a landline phone call, but fast forward and get into reality it’s all different now.
Whether I am sitting across the table from my kids and want to tell them something that I can not scream or maybe I want to talk to my Aunt up the coast, it’s the matter of a few simple keys and enters and suddenly we are off to the races! I love texting, facetime, phone calls and social media.
Quite honestly, I think I am obsessed with staying connected with friends and family because if we have not chatted, I simply head to the social accounts and join in on their conversations so we are in touch! Here are a few tips for staying connected with family and friends so that mobile living can be done with complete ease.
Staying Connected to Keep Up With Mobile Living
My discussion today is sponsored by Verizon Wireless based on my personal usage of VerizonLTEa and lifestyle integration of cellular communication into my life. As you know, DanaVento.Com only presents products that meet, exceed and have a value to my readership. I use my phone the same way all of you do!
Mobile Living is defined as living without bounds and the ability to be anywhere yet stay connected to the ones you love, can you do that with your phone service? I can and while I am not bragging I am loving my ability to travel with my job and never miss out on anything with my family and friends because my connection with my cellular provider is shamelessly perfect!
Tips For Staying Connected With Family and Friends
Choose a provider that lets you stay in touch, one that has strong, steady and reliable service so that you can rock the walls of communication. Don’t be a shlump when it comes to family and friends everyone loves you so get in on that and stay in touch!
Right about now you are wondering why you don’t text, Google Hangout, SKYPE and Facetime a lot and my guess is your carrier is slow, lethargic and texting moves slower than you could drive across the states am I right? Get to your local Verizon Store and get connected so that you can be connected and stay connected without service bleeps.
Verizon service is about letting you live without bounds so your life can be an endless journey and you can include your friends and family in it as you traverse and stay tuned into their lives!
The New Phone Call
Call when you are able to really talk, share your time, listen and then send photos! Google Hangouts or Facetime depending on your device are your relationship-savers and best friend. Trying to tell someone what a place looks like is great, but sharing the moment is even better. When your service moves like lightening, like mine does on VerizonLTEa, you have no excuses to not share the moment.
These phone calls are the practical way to share the moment and the destination so that everyone can ‘ooh and ahh’ with you. Of course, Mobile Living does not mean that every day is sunny and beautiful but being able to stay connected, anytime, anywhere lets you keep your spirits high and your family close!
TEXT IT
Text when you can’t call. Remember emoji’s show you care, so go crazy! Texting is nice to remind someone that there are other’s thinking about them! Cheer them on with an emoji of Wine, or the Dancing ‘senorita’ and keep your friendships vibrant!
What could be better than laughing out loud? Laughing by text with a LOL when talking out loud is simply not permissible (meetings, restaurant settings, etc). There’s alway a minute that gets in the way of moving on, the one that makes you laugh so hard you snort the drink out of your nose and then YOU Have to share!
You can not share if you are in an ill-appropriate setting unless you TEXT, then you can LOL, ROLF, and get to the punchline together. Hey, it’s better that 2 of you are laughing than one, share the love and the laughs!
Stay In Touch
It’s all about using the technology available to you to make the most of every day no matter where you are because mobile living is exceptional freedom on life! Lavishly live it out loud!
I really like Skype. I find it more personable than sending a text and sometimes over making a phone call because you can video chat and see the person you are talking with.
Staying in touch with family and friends is very important to keep both parties happy. I cannot live without talking to my family, so technology is truly essential. It is really advantageous to procure a mobile phone with the latest communication feature for fast and easy means of talking to our loved ones.
That is the advantage of mobiles, because you can connect them with the Internet and you can start to be connected virtually with relatives and friends who are very far from you. That is what I am grateful with technology. I even get connected to my favorite celebrity in other country. Though I am not active in some social network, i know I can use those in the future.
Staying connected and interactive with close ones is a good way to keep you uplifted during the day. Emojis and Facetime are great because they’re much more personable than simply texting.
Thanks for the tips danavento. It’s really easy to get connected with your family and friends nowadays because of technology. We have our cellphones for communication and the social media networks such as Facebook which helps a person to connect to other people all around the world and its easy for you to share what you are doing whether you are travelling, at home, or in any places you’ll be by uploading photos or choose to broadcast yourself live.
I second that. I Miss a lot of people but they either hate e or do not want me. I just want to say sorry but that is harder than it sounds.
It’s definitely easier to stay in touch with other people nowadays because of technology. However, I still like the old way better– getting cards and just having letters that you could touch!
While I don’t really have much trouble connecting with friends and family, it is really thoughtful of you to share ideas like this for people who do. In a world that is supposed to be more connected than ever before, it’s kind of ironic that some still need to be reminded to connect with family!
Yes technology has really helped us a lot especially those that are far away from our homes. Its good to stay in touch once in a while or on a daily basis.
These days, there’s really no excuse not to keep in touch. Unless you are avoiding people! That’s what I always tell my friends who haven’t been in touch for a while LOL!
