TUTTI FRUTTI ~ CANDY CRUSH SAGA IN A BOTTLE

October 10, 2015 By Dana Vento 30 Comments

Each day as I ride my stationary bike or work out on the elliptical, I amuse myself as I play Candy Crush Saga.  It takes me a long time to get from level to level, who knows why, but it is amusing and keeps me pedaling and moving!  One thing is for certain, looking at hard candy for an hour at a time makes one really salivate for the taste of those candies.  As a rule, I don’t keep anything like that in the house because I don’t want to have it interfere with my diet, or lifestyle eating habits, but, there are times when I make an exception.  Since the Candy Crush Saga keeps me coming back day after day, I just decided to give in and buy some hard candy, but you have to know what kind to buy! This is my story of lavishly living life out loud with Tutti Frutti~Candy Crush Saga In A Bottle.

I will start this with the following statement: the only place I have ever seen this is at ALDI.  I used to be a large fan of ALDI, but recently have turned away from shopping at the store, for a multitude of reasons, so this may or may not still be available, but it does come in around the holidays. A recent stop at ALDI left me at the check out lane, as the lines were of course long because the store is pretty popular.  As I was waiting in line, I looked on the end cap and I spied a jar of green, purple, red, orange and yellow candies.  Upon further inspection I came to learn that they were Orange, Lemon, Apple, Raspberry and Grape and each color corresponded to it’s flavor.  The jar was a tall jar, that was of solid glass and a suctioned glass lid.  It was reminiscent of those old fashioned jarred candies, and the price, Under $4!  I had to have it, all I could think of: Candy Crush Saga candy!

The flavors were true to their appropriate fruit and they were thick, candies that just don’t dissipate after you suck on them it takes a while.  The candy is delicious and the cost is so FRUGAL.  The jar can be reused over and over once the candies are gone!  The candy is made in Germany.

Now, once you EAT all the candy out of the jar, you can reuse the jar.  We store Gummies, Gummy Bears, Licorice Bites and even change in them.  Think about the cost of the jar alone, usually at least $4, but here you are getting candy and a jar.

This would be my absolute pick of the month, but not just for the jar reuse, flavor or cost, and the fact that these would make perfect gifts for those sweet teachers your kids have had!  If you throw a bow of raffia on this it will look even prettier than it does! This is an incredible buy, and found at your local ALDI!  While I may not be Crushing Candy in Candy Crush, I sure am crushing candy from Heller & Strauss!  This is my story of lavishly living TUTTI FRUTTI ~ CANDY CRUSH SAGA IN A BOTTLE

Is there any way that I can buy some more of this candy now. I take care of an elderly German woman and she is wanting some more of this candy. I would really appreciate it if you could let me know about how I can buy her some more. Thanks.

It literally does look like Candy Crush in a jar what fun. I don’t eat jelly based sweets as I am a vegetarian but my friends love them.

I don’t think we have that store around here (in Maine), but I do sometimes like hard candy. Right now I’m hooked on Welch’s Fruit Snacks, in the Apple Orchard Medley.

I really have to stay away from too much sweets and so the contents would not be too appealing to me but I love those jars! 🙂

I love fruit flavored candies! They are the best. This one looks yummy, and it takes a while to finish it all too.

wow – that candy totally brings back memories! We call them “old fashioned” candy. My great grandmother always put them out around the holidays! I love how you repurposed the jar!
