From the bottom of my toes to the top of my head, I am a pasta girl. Growing up Italian there is no way I could ever resist a noodle, plain, olive-oil coated, or sauce slathered. When we head out to eat, I love to dine on properly prepared pasta.
Did you know that this is National Pasta Month? It is time to twirl those forks and spoons, sample different cuts of pasta, and lightly shake the Reggiano over those plates folks. Lavishly live food out loud and learn where to celebrate National Pasta Month, while filling our belly!
Where To Celebrate National Pasta Month
My meal was provided, thoughts, images, and content are my own as I strive to share the best of the best with you in food.
BRAVO Cucina Italiana prepares an amazing assortment of pasta cuts, as well as sauce options and they are all about National Pasta Month. In fact, from Oct. 3–Oct. 29 get there to enjoy two-course pasta combos for lunch ($14.99) and dinner ($16.99). What’s not to love the offer includes a choice of soup or salad. (unbuckles those tight pants, lol!)
EVERY GREAT MEAL BEGINS WITH A COCKTAIL
Are you ready for these limited time fall-inspired cocktails?
Apple Crisp Cooler — Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, apple juice, Apple Pucker liqueur, apple butter, apple wedge, cinnamon sugar rim ($8.50)
Caramel Apple Cider Appletini — Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, apple cider, lemon juice, simple syrup, apple slice, caramel and cinnamon sugar rim ($7.95)
Sip, sip and now it is time to Dip, into the delectable and my personal favorite Artichoke + Spinach Dip with parmesan pizza flatbread.
WHAT IS THE MENU FOR NATIONAL PASTA MONTH?
The Chefs at BRAVO Cucina Italiana are cooking up some great and familiar dishes.
Familiar because as a huge fan of BRAVO, I have had at least one of these on a previous menu so I am happy to see it as part of the National Pasta Month Menu!
Choose from one of four pasta combinations and they all look as great as they taste!
Salad or Soup?
The weather outside is hardly fall-like so choosing soup did not even enter into my mind. However, if you are a soup-a-holic here are your choices
Soup of the Day
Italian Wedding Soup
Lobster Bisque (+$1)
Next, the big decision, which of three salad offerings would we choose?
I can tell you I am the queen of the Chopped Salad.
My husband loves the BRAVO Caesar!
With the four possible options which ones would we choose?
Pasta Woozie with grilled chicken, fettuccine, alfredo, and spinach
Chianti Braised Beef Ravioli featuring Sangiovese braised beef-filled ravioli, roasted sweet potatoes, brown butter, and sage
Campanelle Mediterranean with sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach, pine nuts, and feta. Does it look divine?
This is my choice of the evening as it is meatless!
Also available is the Baked Rigatoni Bolognese featuring BRAVO’s signature meat sauce, marinara, Pomodoro, Reggiano, ricotta, mozzarella, and Provolone
End On A Sweet Note
Don’t forget about filling up that sweet tooth, and trust me, the Pumpkin Butterscotch Bread Pudding is the ticket to sweet and yummy. This is the Pumpkin Butterscotch Bread Pudding made with vanilla bean gelato, caramel, candied pecans, anglaise, and cinnamon.
