Why Is Fortnite So Addicting?

March 8, 2018 By Dana Vento 5 Comments

Why is fortnite so addictive, fortnite, gaming, pc, PlayStation, Why Is Fortnite So Addicting?

Hey guys, it’s MJ! Today I want to discuss why Fortnite is so addicting. I heard my mom talking to my dad and they can not figure out why my brother and I are in the mancave nonstop addicted to Fornite. No one really seems to get why we (kids) are loving and obsessed with this game.

My dad is so curious he came down and hung out with me and Niko. He was totally into it too. In fact, he was simply enthralled with it. The game beckons you, has awesome features, and killer graphics.  Honestly, the game puts you in this world where you know even after you take down your enemies, it’s all just a game.

The game gives you an alternative to move from Call of Duty yet always be part of the action.  I have won the game at least 3 times Solo, zero Duos, and 1 Squads (a set of four). There are new items and weapons introduced every week in addition to new game modes each week, it just is crazy good. Why is Fortnite so addicting?

Why Is Fortnite So Addicting?

What Is Fortnite Exactly: My teen perspective might help.

It’s a whole map of free roam fighting where you collect your own guns and materials. Everyone that plays has the same chance to win as other participants. Currently, it is available PlayStation, XBox, and PC, so pretty much covers all of us teens.

Who Plays?  Why Is Fortnite So Addicting?

Anyone with a PlayStation, XBox and or a PC can play and soon, iOS and Android will be available. In fact, iOS is waitlisted already.  Kids of every age are playing the game and it’s just great!

During The Game

During the game, you can talk to one another via headsets, just as if you were playing ‘Call Of Duty’ etc. It is complicated to learn, but it is fun when you are learning. Once you learn, the game keeps adding on updates. Once you win, you want to keep playing to win again and again.

What is so Intriguing. Have a Look at This Video I found.

The fact that you can build your own structures: forts, towers, traps, stairways, doors to defend yourself from others.

Weaponry includes snipers, assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, and machine guns. There are also shield potions, rocket launcher, and medkits.

Medkits give health back.

Players: Each game hosts 100 players per game.

No matter when you play it, it is a different game. Different people play each game, and the scenario changes each time, so you are never playing the same game.

Best Times To Play

There are always enough players to play, there are no commercials interrupting play.

If you really want to know what is so cool, get together with your kids.  Take the time to play and hang with us, lol.  At least take a peek at what we are doing you don’t have to stay, really! But before you come along, please make sure to bring plenty of food and beverages, we don’t like moving while we are playing! Now do you get why Fortnite is so addicting?
