Grab that lunch sack, dust it off, clean it up, make sure the handles are sanitized and see if the your child needs a new lunch sack or not, it’s here:back to school time. Back To School makes me run for the hills because even if we had the most healthy summer, the germs that are about to be passed from child to child, surface to surface and then to the hands of our kids is beyond the norm and totally over-the-top. Greasy foods are about to attack pant legs, and shorts, while dirt and germs are about to take over the bodies of our children, it is not just back to school it is back to germ-passing. Personally, every year I try to combat the germs, sticky hands, messy, grease-ridden fingers by sending in some form of antibacterial, and this year I have found some great antibacterial hand wipes to use before and after his lunch. As a Mom of a child with severe food allergies I am always looking for ways to minimize contamination of things he might have touched before he touches his food, so sanitizing his hands and the area he is about to put his lunch sack on before every meal at school is very important. Often, soap and water are not readily available because they go right from the playground to the lunch table, so I had to get a little creative in order to make sure he can clean up and not contaminate himself with any thing he might have touched that could serve as a contaminant. Are you ready to lavishly live this lunchtime story and rid the grunge, and Wipe Out Germs With Wet Ones® Wipes? Do you have a child with allergies that needs to remove possible contaminates from the table they are sitting at before their hands touch it? Here’s my story of how to wipe out germs with Wet Ones® Wipes and prevent any other contact with potentially dangerous foods.
This is what our lunchbox looks like, neat, clean and new. My guess is that in a few weeks it will look just like all the other ones we have owned, old, and scuffed from use, and that is fine because it is fresh. Each day I look forward to packing that little lunch that I know will fuel my child for the big day he has learning. I know what I put in, he enjoys and is safe for him to consume. As a mom of a child with severe food allergies it is really important to me that he is able to have a delicious lunch and that nothing comes into contact with him that should not.
My son has a severe reaction to latex as well as nuts(peanut butter) and while the school can not wipe the table off to guarantee me that he won’t come into contact with mashed banana, or peanut butter he can take that action with Wet Ones® Wipes that I pack each day. First he opens it and uses it on his hands and then he wipes of the small table area that he will be using. It is a quick and easy way to remove dirt, and any possible contaminants that might have touched the table. He simply leaves it face down, pulls it forward and folds it in half so that even if there were contaminants he is not coming into contact with them! You could NEVER do that with hand sanitizer! Now his personal eating area is controlled and safer for him to eat on.
Why we LOVE Wet Ones® Wipes
Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes take the sticky out of sticky, the dirt off of hands and they are perfect when there is no soap and water.
