Instant Pot Bolognese Sauce

dana vento
Authentic Italian sauce.
Savory.
Bolognese sauce is one of those sauces you want to master and place in your recipe repertoire.
As a culinary travel gal, I'll be truthful, it's hard to find.
When I did eat meat, 12 years ago, I could never find a dish that was thick, rich and free of brown-sugar.
I don't like brown-sugar tasting sauces, and I've tasted plenty of those.
Brown sugar is the satan of sauce prep, end of story!
Instead of brown sugar in the sauce, to counter the bitter, I'll share a different path to savory.
Fresh ingredients make the difference in this particular recipe.
For those that love pasta with a thick, rich sauce, Instant Pot Bolognese sauce is what you definitely want to try.
Bolognese sauce has many different variations but if you are seeking a sumptuous you've found it.
Get ready for a sensational sauce that will be well-received atop a bed of pasta or a good chunk of bread!

I've Mastered the Art of Savory Instant Pot Bolognese Sauce

In reality, I've attempted several different sauces in the Instant Pot.
Not all sauces turn out well, nor do all the sauces make their way onto my website.
A good sauce needs to maintain its smell, and taste as well as being thick enough to cling to pasta!
When a sauce does not meet those items, it's nixed off my list of reputable.

Creating Thick Enough Sauce for Bolognese Sauce

You might think that sauce is made with just puree.
In that case, you are wrong.
Some of the best and most rich-tasting sauces are created with paste.
However, the paste is a beastie to tame if you don't understand how to break it down and use it.
