Veggie Pizza With Dandelion Greens

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Small Bunch of Dandelion Greens
  • 1/2 C of Chopped Red Onion
  • 3 Tbsp of Minced Garlic
  • 1 C of Tomato Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Of Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup of Freshly Grated Romano Cheese hand grating is preferable for taste
  • 1 C of Pizza Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Of Pizza Spice
  • 1/4 C of Cheese from container-parmesan, etc- type you use for pasta
  • 1 Large Rectangular Pizza Shell
  • 1- 12 Oz Package of Mushrooms Sliced

Instructions
 

For Vegetable Prep:

  • In a large bowl, place dandelion greens, add a dash of salt and water to rim. Allow dandelion to rinse for about 3 minutes, then rinse each piece and place in colander.
  • Remove from colander and either pat dry with paper towel or use a lettuce spinner to get the moisture off.
  • Chop up the Dandelion with Kitchen Scissors into Bite Size pieces
  • Chop up Red Onion
  • Grate the Fresh Cheese
  • Rinse the Mushrooms and slice(if not already)

For Pizza Shell Preparation:

  • Preheat Oven to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • While oven is preheating prepare the pizza shell by placing shell in baking pan
  • Brush Pizza Shell evenly with the Olive Oil
  • Spread Garlic across the Olive Oil
  • Add the 1/4 C of cheese evenly across the shell of the pizza
  • Smear the sauce across the pizza, there will not be excess, just enough to coat, do make sure to get the edges and corners, better than the middle.

For The Pizza

  • Add the Pizza cheese
  • Add the Dandelion evenly spreading it across the pizza
  • Add The Red Onion and The Mushroom
  • Sprinkle the Spiced Pizza Flavor across the top
  • Sprinkle the 1/2 C Freshly grated cheese

  • Bake pizza for about 12 Minutes or until cheese is melted and Dandelion is wilted. Make sure your crust is golden brown.
  • Serve warm or cold, cut into pieces as you desire.
