Strawberry Amaretto Ice Cream

Delicious fresh berries incorporated into this alcohol-free recipe create a tasty cool treat of Strawberry Amaretto ice cream.

Equipment

  • Blender or Kitchen Ninja Smoothie Maker
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Ice Cream Containers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 14 ounce can Condensed milk I'll suggest chilling this for at least 24 hours ahead in the refrigerator
  • 2 cups (473 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1.5 oz (45 ml) Sugar-Free Amaretto Coffee Syrup use the bottle. You can use Amaretto syrup with sugar, I chose not too.
  • 1 Tbsp PURE Almond Extract
  • 1 .3 ounce Sugar Free Strawberry Jello you can use regular gelatin instead of sugar free.
  • 3 squirts Food Coloring TOTALLY OPTIONAL
  • 1 1.2 cup Strawberries washed, stem removed, chopped, paper towel dried (just let the berries sit on paper towel to take away rinsed moisture.

Instructions
 

  • Open your condensed milk and your heavy whipping cream and set aside.
  • Wash, rinse, de-stem, chop strawberries and place on a paper towel to capture moisture then set side.
  • Have ready your Amaretto syrup, gelatin, and optional food coloring if you are using it.
  • Pour the condensed milk into the blender or your
  • Add the Amaretto Syrup
  • Next add in the Gelatin
  • Blend for 2-3 minutes. It will get fluffy.
  • Add in food coloring if you are now
  • Again 30 second pulse and scrape down sides to make certain food coloring is mixed in.
  • Add in 1 cup of the berries and pulse quickly
  • Transfer strawberry amaretto ice cream into storage container (s) top with more berries.
  • Freeze for 6 hours (quarts may take up to 8 hours to solidify. 6 oz containers freeze in about 4 hours.
  • Enjoy.
