Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

dana vento
Have you ever really considered how much food you have between your pantry and refrigerator?
Generally, we buy more than we need, 'just in case' but 'in case' does not happen more often than not.
When holidays pass, and new ones are ushered in, it's time to take stock of your fridge and pantry.
Today's recipe will use some of those baking ingredients you over purchased and a few refrigerated staples.
There are NO EGGS in the recipe.
Get ready to dip graham crackers, pretzels, vanilla wafers, and fingers into this dessert.
Chocolate Chip cookie dough is a MOST requested recipe in my home and I always have the ingredients on hand!
Read the recipe through or skip right to the bottom to get the printable recipe.
It's time to 'Dip, Dip Hooray' into Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!

Is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip Really No Bake?

Yes. There's nothing to bake, but you will be asked to bring it everywhere you go, once your family and friends try it!

Can Kids Make This Dip?
If you let your kids use a mixer, YES!.

I will caution you that this can NOT be mixed by hand so a mixer is involved.
However, if you have a blender, you could use that as well!
Many kids use mixers in homes, so, your the boss, your call!

Do I Need to Keep Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Refrigerated?

YES! 100x Yes.
Cream cheese can grow unhealthy bacteria on it after 2 hours on the counter without refrigeration.
Additionally, the butter in the product really needs to be refrigerated as well!

Notes

Do not microwave butter.
Let butter soften on the counter for an hour before working with it.
Do not work with solid cream cheese.
It needs to be softer, yet not solid.
Mini morsels work well in this, however, anything you have in the pantry will work.
