jar strawberry jelly
Tube of white cookie icing
black cookie icing tube or Edible Spider decor
Coffin cookie cutter
Cutting board
Spoon
Cooking sheet
Parchment paper
Baking spray
Fork
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prep the cookie sheet with baking spray or use parchment paper.
Sprinkle some flour on a cutting board
Unroll one pie crust on the flour-covered cutting board.
Using the coffin cookie cutter cut out 12 coffins from the pie crust.
Transfer the unbaked coffin cookies to the cookie sheet.
Add a small spoonful of strawberry jelly (blood) in the center of each of the unbaked cookie coffins.
Make sure the jelly (blood filling) is placed in the center of the cookies. (Keep it away from the edges.)
Place the remaining unbaked coffin cookies on top of the other 6 unbaked Blood-Filled coffin cookies.
Using the fork seal the edges of each of the strawberry blood-filled coffin pop tarts.
Poke a few small holes on the top of the coffin pop tarts.
(This will allow steam to escape the pop tart.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min. (Or until slightly brown)
Remove from the oven.
Set aside to cool completely.
Using the white cookie icing, pipe on a spider web (or you can use the listed
edible spider decor
)
Repeat with the black cookie icing. Simply pipe on a
spider
coming down from the web.
Allow icing to dry for 30 minutes before enjoying.
