Take all of your prepared apples and place them in a pot (that has a lid)
Put your water into the pot.
Top off with cinnamon (covering the apples that are on top).
*optional - Add in the cinnamon stick and bury it in the middle.
Cook on Medium Heat for one hour.
At the end of one hour, remove from heat, set aside.
When you are ready, take a potato masher, and puree, or when cooled, placed in blender and whip to smooth consistency or preferred consistency.
