Broccoli Pasta With Elephant Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 2 - Bags Frozen chopped Broccoli
  • 1 Clove Elephant Garlic
  • 5 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • Pinch of Red Pepper
  • 1/3 C Water
  • 3 Tsp of Mediterranean Sea Salt
  • 1 Pound of Pasta of Your Choice - cooked in a separate pot

Instructions
 

  • Boil Pasta in a Separate Pot, salt with about 3 tsp of salt and while pasta is boiling remove 2 cups of boiling pasta water and reserve for later.
  • Place Olive Oil and Sliced Garlic in pan.
  • Allow garlic to brown ever-so-slightly
  • Once garlic is lightly browned on one side add in frozen broccoli
  • Add 1/3 C of water
  • Cover and let the broccoli and garlic saute for about 10 minutes
  • Uncover, stir, add pinch of red pepper, and salt
  • Cook until the Garlic is soft and mashes.
  • Place Pasta, and broccoli mixture in a large mixing bowl, stir and blend, then add the reserved pasta water
  • Serve with freshly grated cheese
