Pressure Cooker Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion – peeled and sliced
  • 1 Large Green Bell Pepper cored, and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 6 Italian Sausages mild, hot, sweet – your preference
  • 1 29 Oz Can of Tomato Sauce

Instructions
 

  • To Inner Pot Add Oil, Onions, Garlic, Sausage, and Pepper to the inner pot.
  • Press Start, Menu, Sauté, Start
  • Allow to brown sausage for 4 minutes, turning to brown evenly and stirring veggies as you go.
  • Press Stop/Cancel once evenly browned (about 4 minutes)
  • Add in Sauce, 1 Cup of Water and place lid on top, lock, and set the pressure limit valve to seal.
  • Press Start, Menu, Meat/Stew and decrease to 15 minutes, Start
  • From this point it will take approximately 9 minutes for the pressure to build and then 15 minutes to cook.
  • When pressure cooker is done, it will signal with beeps allow pressure to release naturally.

  • Browning Time: 4 Minutes
  • Cooking Time: 9 minutes to pressure build and 15 minutes to cook
  • Total Time: 33 minutes
