Instant Pot Crabmeat Red Sauce For Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Stalks of celery deveined & chopped
  • Minced Garlic
  • Basil 1 Tbsp
  • 3 Whole Garlic Clove peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 Sweet Peeled Yellow Onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Parmesan Cheese Rind
  • 16 oz Fresh Refrigerated Can Jumbo Lump Crabmeat

Instructions
 

  • Add Olive Oil to Instant Pot liner. Then add in garlic, basil, onions, and celery.
  • Use the saute mode to 'sweat' mixture for about 5 minutes.
  • While veggies are sweating, use one can of paste to one can of water and mix in cup until smooth.
  • Once veggies are fork tender (celery)  add-in lump crabmeat.
  • Then, pour paste mixture in and stir to mix.
  • Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper (optional).
  • Now sprinkle sugar and mix. Followed by the sauce.
  • Again, mix well. Top off with Parmesan Rind.
  • Turn off Saute mode.
  • Program using Soup mode increasing time to 16 minutes.
  • Once the cooking cycle is done, use the natural release method and serve atop a bed of pasta.
