New technology arrived at my doorstep, and it is a mix of Verizon, Google and Motorola, so I know it’s going to be great! Sometimes I am so ‘old school’ that I forget how easy it is to make new technology function.
I thought when the XYBOARD arrived I would just plug it in and go, but not quite how it has happened. First there are the kids running around the house, and general life, and then ….. the Learning Curve.
I received my XYBOARD on Friday and I was just elated thinking about how great this device was going to be and then the fear set in, “Oh my gosh I actually have to figure out how to use it.” My kids saw it and starting moving the screens from screen to screen, and playing with the stylus and I thought, “Wow I am really old” and I AM NOT! In kicked determination and I have been on the downhill side of it for the last 2 days!
I have successfully tweeted back and forth to Customer Service for help, I have managed to set my e mail and You Tube accounts up and I have even managed to download a few apps. For just a few days I am thrilled.
The screen and it’s clarity and size are excellent and I am enjoying the small size of this XYBOARD.
I will post a little at a time, as it is a learning process, but what a great device for those of us on the run, needing to stay in contact constantly, and with kids who need entertained, so far this is how I have used it! I am thrilled. This morning I am off to my business meeting and a client and I hope that I will look like a pro as I practiced all day yesterday!!!
I am truly hoping that I can access my client’s facebook page with a touch of a finger and activate a new one- that will be my measurable goal today. Customer Service has walked me through a lot of what I did not understand and there was a wonderful ‘HOW TO” online manual that helped as well.
