Ingredients

  • 12 Oz of Flat Beer if you do not have a flat beer, no worries, just add a tsp of salt and let it sit for about 15 minutes that will flatten it out enough to work with, I DO IT ALL THE TIME
  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • 3 1/2 C Bread Flour Use Bread Flour (like King Arthur Brand)
  • 2 1/4 Tsp Yeast
  • 1/4 C Sugar

Method

Add the ingredients in the order your bread machine indicates; I have written the directions on how I add them in mine.
  1. Add in the liquid ingredients: Beer and Olive Oil
  2. Next add in olive oil, beer, sugar, flour
  3. Atop the flour, use your finger to burrow a hole and add the yeast in that hole
  4. Close bread machine, and touch for a 2-pound loaf, dark crust, basic bread.
  5. When the bread machine is done making the bread, remove the bread (carefully it will be hot and remove the paddle) allow it to rest on a cooling rack for about 2 hours
  6. That's it, and the end result is yummy, light and airy bread that everyone will definitely enjoy.
