Before You Go
Remember to pack up before you go and bring along things that will matter. For instance, while you are driving to your chosen destination, you will surely encounter bugs on the windshield. Don’t let those bug remains ruin a great looking car. Bring along some window wipes to clean up the windshield upon arrival!
Next, want an insider’s tip on how to attract more attention to your car? Chances are, with the summer heat, everyone is thirsty. Bring along a cooler, that hosts a plethora of non-alcoholic beverages, such as water and set it in the inside of the trunk!
Water is always good in the heat and talking creates the need for more liquid hydration. Once people find out you are giving out water, they will flock! LOL.
Now the key to the hydration display is to match your car. Note this Pelican Cooler is easily matched to the Muscle Car in the picture right? There are a lot of colors, so choose one to match your car’s style! Also, this is so rugged that it doubles nicely as a seat if you want to use it for that!
Beachside
When you head on out to your favorite beach destination be sure to find out the beach drive hotspots. There’s almost always a gathering of muscle and high-performance cars at a local parking garage or lot. Often, there’s a strip where the vehicles congregate.
Make sure to bring along a portable table and chairs. You will want a place to sit and chat to all of your friends that gather. Again, you will have more people around when you have provided a comfortable environment for lingering!
Check with the local Convention Visitor’s Bureau and be sure to Google the area online. You will find a spot, and it will be so worth it.
Parks
Oh, the parks are the grounds where so much happens from biking to hiking and entertainment. So, some places it is very informal, if you drive by at night you will see hoods of cars popped, and people just hanging.
Whereas in other places, it’s actually a truly ‘known’ thing for gathering there. Either way, check your county and state park website for info. Also, check forums online for muscle cars.
Car Meet Ups – Official
There’s a site, that you can visit to find car meetups. Truly though you can find meetups in almost every state, whether they are at a local gas station or a vacated parking garage. Some of these require membership, others just show up, and some require signup, but they are all over the USA including Alaska!
You will find that the meetups range from coffee shops to garages, to actual racetracks, they are everywhere. Share the love of a muscle car with others and enjoy your travels!
