Summer is about taking life at easy, enjoying the great outdoors and family time. Now, being outdoors is kind of a license for rough and tough from hiking to water sports and everything in between right?
While we don’t like to admit it, we still watch the clock in the summer as we have places to be and things to do, but we truly watch our watches so they don’t get wet or scratched. Summer activities make it hard to not kill our timepieces, it’s just a fact of life.
We all use our smartphones a lot, and we have guests over that use theirs too. We share photos, stupid YouTube finds and Google stuff nonstop, that’s just part of who we are. Phone passing often equates to drops. Smartphone usage means our batteries die off at the most inopportune times. Let’s solve these issues with 7 summer essentials to make life easier.
Lavishly live life out loud, and let’s see how we can make summer even more enjoyable! Ready?
7 Summer Essentials To Make Life Easier
Today’s post features products provided to me by brands. My opinions are mine, not altered, but based on my personal experience in interacting with EVERY piece. These are the best of the best on my personal summer list, and I hope on yours as well.
Cover Up The Phone
Fact: in the summer we make time to get things done that we have overlooked for months. What this means to most is that a lot of us upgrade our current phones. So consider this, when you upgrade your phone, you need to get a new case.
I love Otterbox. The brand is just tough and stylish in all of its cases. Whatever you want for a case, they have. From clear backs to fun designs. The durability is what captures my attention. I always have my phone out. We pass my phone around to look at photos. Someone always drops my phone, thank goodness I have these cases on the phones to protect.
As a Disney Fan, I heart the design, I have of (1) Mickey and (2) Minnie, and I trade them regularly. These are for my iPhone X that I tote everywhere.
Now, if you have a Samsung Galaxy 9+ Otterbox has you covered too. I love these designs because they are not just rugged, but stylish and the phone can take a bounce (phewwwww).
(3) Galaxy S9+Symmetry Series Clear Graphics Case
This case is tough, trust me I have dropped my phone more than I care to admit, yet things are still just fine. Thanks, Otterbox!
&(4) Symmetry Series Graphics Case for Galaxy S9+
For this one, the color caught my eye. It’s different and it is strong, so I use my phone every day and I do not worry about life happening.
(5) Family Charging and Friend Charging
What’s the worst thing that happens at gatherings besides everyone wanting the WiFi passcode then slowing the internet down? Ok, it’s charging. Everyone needs to stay powered up, and I have found the solution. This 5 device charger! We keep it in the kitchen central to all the action and there are 5 outputs.
The wireless top is the 5th port and perfect for iPhone 8 and up. It is a USB-C fast charging station and it supports both the iPhone and the latest Android devices. Expect a 50% charge in just 30 minutes! A wireless top port, a 1x fast charge USB-C port and 3 USB ports that will charge (not rapid but will charge!)
(6) Travel Charging The Apple Watch and the iPhone
So my biggest pet peeve in life is the Apple Watch. Is it smart? Not to me. In my mind, the fact that it needs to be charged every day if you wear it and actually use it as a companion to the iPhone makes it awful for travel. Why don’t I just lug another charger with me, because I don’t have enough to tote while traveling right? NOMAD Wireless Hub
This is the perfect solution for the iPhone and Apple Watch to charge. Offering a 6000mAh lithium-ion battery and it is easy to use. There’s also an integrated lightning cable. Tote one piece and go!. You do have to install your Apple Watch charging cable into the Pod Pro for it to work.
(7) Watch This
Gotta a guy who’s rough on his stuff and really big on keeping time? Well, what if there was a rugged watch that could take it all on? There is.
This is a ridiculously impressive rugged watch.
