You know I personally don’t eat meat, but my family craves the yummy meats that are out there to prepare so I am always cooking. We were in the store the other day and I was watching a roasted chicken get slathered and basted up with gunk, really it was thick and disgusting. I began to realize even more than I already was aware, how much crap is in processed food, store-bought and it made my stomach turn. My turning point, my discovery, my latest lavish recipe that is so easy to create is Broasted Chicken. Here is my how Broasted Chicken Recipe as I lavishly live food out loud in my latest cooking adventure!
I believe that a home-cooked meal does not have to be lavish to be delicious, just good and easily crafted. With a little ingeniuty, I whipped up some awesome tasting, easy-to-prepare Broasted Chicken at Home and this Broasted Chicken Recipe was consumed by all family members! I believe the most lavish part of this broasted chicken recipe is that it was without a luxurious price tag to prepare, yet it tasted like a million bucks(so I am told!)
Lavish is not always lavish preparation. With this recipe of Broasted Chicken, it was the ease of prep that I really appreciated. I grabbed an aluminum pan, my chicken legs, as well as season salt and breadcrumbs. This is very simple to make and you don’t need many ingredients. My chicken was ready to go as you can see in the middle pan.
Take about a half cup of breadcrumbs and then take about 1 teaspoon of seasonal more or less as you like your food salted. Mix the two together and add it to the aluminum pan that you can toss out once you were done so you do not have to worry about bacteria. Simply rolled up piece of chicken around in the cramming mixture, and make sure that it is evenly coated
To get this recipe just right I used my slow cooker base, and my 4 quart stainless steel stockpot with cover from my 360 cookware. This is my favorite piece of cookware because all I do is add a little bit of water at the base and I mean maybe a quarter of a cup and it just cooks everything so soft that the meat wants to fall off the bones. Once I place the lid on this with my 1/4 c of water, it simply seals the juice into the meat, this is the best gourmet cooker you will find on the market!
I cook the chicken for two hours in here, and you can see the result.
It was moist and tender in the breading had stayed on already. In order to get that broasted, crunchy taste on the chicken I didn’t win ahead and lines and aluminum pan.
I made sure to use a slotted spoon for each piece, I did not need the grease and fat transferring to our meal. I put the chicken under the broiler for about 10 minutes, and I made sure That the chicken did not burn and diligently watched it. And this is the result!
That’s all there was to this, and it was phenomenal, according to my family five stars. You can make as much chicken or as little as you like, just adjust the breading amount. I barely used a cup of bread crumbs on this entire recipe. I also did a Gluten Free Version of this for my daughter and it was just as outstanding.
