Candy is so much fun to eat and there are so many fun concoctions out there. I love taking different ingredients and assembling them into something fun. I don’t believe in hard to create kitchen foods because that just sucks the fun out of cooking and creating. I am more of an instant gratification kind of girl so Candy Sushi was the perfect creation.
Candy sushi will not take you long to create, you can use it at theme parties, for birthday parties, treats, or just because. Dress up the tables, create fun flavors and change up what you add to the Candy Sushi. You are only as limited as you let yourself be with this fun recipe.
Lavishly live food out loud and create these fun treats that I call Candy Sushi.
Here’s the How to Video
This is fast and easy and it will step you through the process. You will need Foot Long Fruit Rollups, and mini Rice Krispie square, large Swedish fish and a few gummy bears. After that, it’s done. Seconds to a great Candy Sushi.
Ingredients
Mini Rice Krispy Treats
Foot Long Fruit RollUps
Kitchen Scissors
Swedish Fish
Gummy Bears
The whole process from start to finish is about 30 seconds per Candy Sushi. I am sure if you have leftovers someone will gladly eat the extras. There are no precise measurements because it’s all up to your creativity level.
Do make sure to keep the treats even when you cut them and smash it together when you place the fish in the middle. You want it to adhere so that you can easily wrap with the fruit roll-up.
These are great to make for parties with kids and we have found that they are allergen-friendly (at least for our allergies, latex free, honey free, nut free, and seafood free.)
