As you look, consider, browse and shop, make sure to check out a crossover SUV. Do you suffer through seasons that go from rain to sleet to snow all in one day and then the sun shines? You gotta read this.
Not sure what a Crossover is versus an SUV? It’s simple actually. The crossover is built on a car’s platform, unlike traditional SUV’s built on truck platforms.

Crossover SUV Waiting To Elevate Your Driving Experience
2018 Nissan Murano
Today’s post is sponsored. Opinions are my own based on experience as an Auto Blogger who drives to learn and then share. Learn more about the 2018 Nissan Murano by taking a test drive at a Nissan Dealer near you.
All Wheel Drive that is Intelligent
Have you ever gotten ready to drive in the morning and it was raining? Then it started to snow and at the end of the day the sun was out? The 2018 Nissan Murano AWD is your best friend. It’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive instantly changes with the ever-changing conditions. In fact, it can auto switch from 2-wheel to 4-wheel and back again. Why would this matter? Gas consumption efficiency.
Emergency Features
Nissan offers “Nissan Intelligent Mobility™ features” including the ‘ Automatic Emergency Braking.’ It’s nice to have a backup of your reaction skills so that something makes a difference between your reaction time and the time you ‘needed to stop!’
From sensing traffic from your rear (super nice to know what’s around you when driving on a highway) to standard Intelligent Forward Collision warning for what’s in front of you, the tech is always guarding (so to speak). Speed, distance and 2 cars ahead are always being watched and if those cars decelerate, you will be ‘warned’ to slow down as well. (love this no-nonsense approach to driving on the open road!) Also to help out is Intelligent Cruise Control so that you and the car ahead keep separated.
A side note about the weather: on those really cold mornings or really hot ones your FOB works up to 100 feet away to start the car. Get ahead on the inside temperature long before you step inside!
Overview
Expect to average (estimated) about 21 Miles per gallon around the city and about 28 MPG through highway driving. Seating for 5 (albeit the middle seat is a bit small). Cargo space that increases by folding down the passenger row, a 60/40 split so variable combinations for whatever you are hauling along.
Intelligent features, with great gas mileage, seating for 5, and AWD that helps you drive effortlessly, all equate to a Crossover SUV waiting to elevate your driving experience. Test drive yours at a local Nissan Dealership.
