Pittsburgh is a city known for its unique foods like Pierogies, Kielbasa, fresh and delectable bread, and salads with fries! We are a foodie city and I truly believe we are so into food because we are constantly celebrating our sports teams.

From tailgating to parties at home, this town knows how to food it up and our large restaurants that have settled into our towns have quickly learned that we Pittsburgher’s have some creative flair from those ‘at-home’ dishes that translate well onto a menu!

I am super excited to share with you a fun new locally inspired menu at the Hard Rock Café in Pittsburgh, as I lavishly live my journey of being a foodie out loud and taste test to share with you!

Hard Rock knows that unearthing our local foods is just another key element of kitchen success. In fact, having the opportunity to showcase Pittsburgh in a menu derived from our most famed local eats, is simply ingenious!

The Test Kitchen program represents a group of twelve cafes worldwide, including Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh, that have been selected to showcase Hard Rock’s new hand crafted menu, inspired by the region, and invites guests to share the menu evolution.

The cafe has partnered with local Pittsburgh vendors such as Pierogies Plus, Isaly’s and Breadworks to incorporate the delicious taste and flavors Pittsburgh has to offer into each menu offering.

Here’s what you will find on a new menu that is locally inspired by our delicious Pittsburgh Foods!

Pittsburgh-inspired menu items guests can look forward to including:

·         PITTSBURGH STEAK SALAD – Freshly chopped seasonal greens with grilled, sliced skirt steak, diced vine-ripened tomatoes, red onion, thick-cut smoked bacon topped with mixed cheese, then tossed in Southwest ranch dressing and served up Pittsburgh-style with seasoned fries on top

Jump in for the It’s Electric – Go Bananas.  Bacardi, Banana Rum, Midori Lemon Liquor, pineapple juice, and Coco Real Shaken together for the electric combination and it’s garnished with whipped cream and banana candy.
