Want to know why you are staring at a picture of my butt? Perhaps because I have been working so hard that I am proud it is toned that I am sharing. This story is all about how a tight end gave me a tight ass.
It’s time for a new year and a new you and exercise is so important. I am working out, and really working towards making my body much more physically fit and healthy. I have been working under the direct guidance of former NFL Tight End Great Dan Gronkowski.
Lavishly live fitness out loud as I tell you a little bit about how a former NFL Tight End gave me a tight ass, lol! If you think this will be a rated R post you are wrong, but I am going to talk quite candidly about how exercise actually looks on you! If you love the Gronkowski’s you will love them more when you read how they are truly what fit, active and definitely into FITNESS!
How A Tight End Gave Me A Tight Ass
My newest best friend has become the Octane Elliptical which I spend endless days and nights working out on. Medicine Balls and Kettlebells have become my core’s best friend and the only time to be down is when I am pedaling on the descent of my elliptical!
Yes, you are looking at a picture of my newly firmed up butt! Candid, up close and so personal, and you know why? Currently, I have invested weeks exercising and I am not nearly done, but my butt is changing.
What is not going to be on my body is a saggy but! No way am I going to go around with that forty-year-old saggy butt look, it’s not me. I want to wear my jeans, low, and cut right, without elastic to make them comfy, because none of that is me.

Squat That Kettlebell Baby
Kettlebells, squats, medicine balls and cardio are all my ticket to an at-home workout and if you think it’s old school, you are right. Dan helped me in making a decision as to what piece of equipment I might best workout with in order to achieve an overall great workout, at home!
Dan suggested the Octane Q37 XL and the cross circuit kit with it to get the optimum at home workout. Dan was one amazing football player and his brothers are too, so I think he knows just what he is doing.
Fancy gadgets don’t get you anywhere, hard work does. Traditional tools like medicine balls, kettlebells, and some good cardio go further than all the fru fru in the world. Resistance Bands, Squats and a good hour a day, melt the crap away and Dan makes sure I remember daily!
Push My Results To The Next Level
What happens when you faithfully commit to a workout plan at home, each day when you have time, around your schedule? Your body changes is the answer. Committing to an at home rugged fitness program is how I roll.
Additionally, I like privacy and don’t need anyone watching me dig in, and burning it off. Rather, I see this as a personal commitment to myself and not one for all of those at the gym to watch, nor do I need to see all of them working out and sweating all over the gym equipment(GROSS!).
I compete against myself, my day before numbers, burned calories and squats, etc.
As a matter of fact, my daughter found me in the kitchen one night cooking in my sweat shorts and tank and she smacked my butt and then she said, “Oh my gosh mom your butt is so firm, for real!” I was like what the heck do you mean by that?
She said, “Most ladies your age are starting to droop and look saggy but you look great!” That was a teen compliment! I actually began to feel good about myself and noted that the workout might be paying off!
Later that night, as I was cleaning up, I bent down to fetch dropped silverware, and what do you know, my husband walks up behind me and whops my butt! He said, “Wow the elliptical is really changing you up!”
The Husband Thing
First, you need to know that my husband rarely, if ever has said anything about me, or my weight so this was astounding. He has been the most non-judgmental person through all of this weight gain and loss, as he is not a judgemental type person.
These pictures are unlike I have ever taken, but you need to see these results because I can assure you, if I did not feel good about self, they would not exist. My husband, well he was just having a good old time with the pictures!
Now totally out of my comfort zone, talking to you about getting smacked on the tush by my family mates(let’s face it everyone does this in their house, it ‘s just silly fun, some of you don’t talk about it though).
I find myself compelled to explain more about this at home fitness I have been doing in order to get to a point that I can even stand ‘self’
My Octane Elliptical – Tight End
I make sure I bring my iPad along and I added the App from Octane(Smartlink). Then I program my App to Lose Weight and the rest has pretty much been squat and elliptical history. Last I get on my elliptical and chug away each day.
What I am doing is meeting the requirements of my weight loss program. However it does not stop there, in fact, I use the bands to squat, press and workout my lower body and arms.
As I am doing all of this, I am losing weight, and feeling great, I mean look at my jeans. These jeans were once tight-fitting jeans that had no room to move and now, they are loose and feeling good, much more comfortable and this is just 12 weeks into work out segments, I can hardly wait to see the 6-month marker~
