It is party time and no matter the season parties can take their toll on the host and hostess. My party catering tips will help you get through the parties with ease and in fact, they might make you love to have parties more often.
Parties are all about the planning and organization, and while those that are thrown together often fare well, organization reads much better with the presentation, IMO! From food offerings to set up every little detail matters. What I also have learned is that if parties become too hard to throw you stop, so take advantage of my tips for party planning and catering to make it easy and fun.
Are you getting ready to host a party? Is the party for Graduation? Is it a picnic? A birthday, a winter holiday or maybe just to get together? Use these fabulous tips for catering and create a grand affair with ease and at the end everyone will be saying ‘BRAVO!’ Lavishly live parties out loud and bookmark my Party catering tips.
PARTY CATERING TIPS
Today’s post is sponsored by BRAVO! Cucina Italiana, however story, images, and tips are my own. I share only relevant ways to incorporate the best of into your lives daily!
Parties need to be as stress-free as possible and I highly suggest invites, whether text invitations, e-vites or traditional mailed. Do accept Not Attending RSVP’s only to keep it easier on you. How many people are you having? Bigger is better but so much more work, so plan ahead and have a good idea of how many you are inviting because this also digs into your eating and beverage need-to-know planning.
Time is Everything
Next, definitely set a specific time range for the party. If you are eating by 7p or putting the food out then, write 6-9p this way the late arrivals will get there by 7 and food will be starting to circulate and by 9 only your ‘best of the best’ will be hanging around. What you would never say it out loud but I would, your very best friends are the ones that stay after the party is done, finish off the bottles of wine and enjoy a bit more ‘you time’!
Please don’t go super crazy cleaning, unless your home is so out of control you can’t find seats and if there are cat and dog things everywhere. Just pick up, clean up, and make sure the bathroom is clean for guests. Add in a hand towel, fresh soap and something for odor control including a spray and a stay in fragrance. That ought to handle it all. To be honest, the only 2 places your friends will spend time that evening or day is either at a table and chairs of some sort or in the bathroom so these areas should be spot on, ignore the rest and make a closet your friend, jam it!
It’s all about the food and the drink so make good choices, the kind that will make your friends herald, ‘BRAVO’ once they have eaten! We love BRAVO! Cucina Italiana for our catering and parties. In fact, have a whole new catering menu or you can create your own, no matter what you choose it’s just going to be so good. Check out the BRAVO Cucina Catering Menu.
June is my birthday month, in fact 4/5 birthdays in my home are in June. I am exhausted by the time my son and daughter’s birthdays roll around so I cater them with BRAVO! Really good eats, made to order and easy to pick up. There is BRAVO! Cucina Italiana parking just for Curbside Pickup, making it very easy and the food is always ready and fabulous. The menus can be tailored from 4 people to 50 or more, just call in and inquire about catering, it’s super easy and the staff at every location is wonderful!
For my son’s recent party we did some pasta, and salmon, and BRAVO! Chopped Salads and Caprese Salad. Let me share their catering menu with you, it’s extensive and options are abundant so the sky is pretty much the limit. When you call in and order catering your server will take excellent care of your order (our ALEX sure did) and everything down to the flatware and napkins come along. Total ease of prep.
Standard with the BRAVO Cucina Catering Menu
Each Family Bundle menu comes standard with a choice of entree, focaccia bread, dipping oil, Caesar, Chopped or Insalata Della Casa Salad choices, already starting perfectly because your salads and bread are done!
So if you are doing a smaller party this might be the option you choose, we did.
Larger parties may have you opting for more choices to please more people and BRAVO can meet that challenge too. Go A La Cart and choose your own appetizers, salads, and entrees, there’s so or choose the Catering Bundles that serve 10, offering you the salad, bread and pasta and entrees all at one cost.
Campanelle Pasta Salad, Crispy Shrimp Napoli, Artichoke and Dip, CRISPY MOZZARELLA RAVIOLI, Pasta Bravo, Pasta Woozie, Grilled Chicken Marsala, Grilled Salmon, Sausage Tortellini, Chicken Caprese, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Fra Diablo, Chicken Scallopini and more.
While pizza may have nothing to do with your catered party, did you know that BRAVO! has awesome pizza too? It’s perfect for big crowds or small ones so we added this to our birthday repertoire.
After all, to me a party is not a party without pizza and pizza from BRAVO! is the ultimate in divine! I highly suggest adding a few pizzas to your Catering order.
Dessert Options Too
Every party needs a good dessert, it not only enhances the spread of food you are serving, but it totally gives the guest something to look forward to. BRAVO has a delicious dessert offering of Tiramisu. Add a dessert tray with half size portions of Tiramisu to any catering bundle.
Clean Up Needs To Be Easy
Make sure to have both a recycle bag/box ready and make sure to have your trash can set up for all those party plates. Keep things easy use heavy duty paper plates that are disposable, and BRAVO will be suiting you up with napkins, and forks. Put this into a basket to keep it organized, line up a buffet like a counter (set up table) and line the table with a plastic, disposable tablecloth. Keep it all easy and party-like.
Keep the beverages easy. If you are inside, fill a laundry tub up with coolers, hard lemonades, beers, and bottles of wine. It is all about the easiness of the party. If you are outside, fill a wheelbarrow up or buckets with ice and fill with the same beverages, just make sure to have a recycle container lined and ready for all the bottles and cans. Eliminate the need for glasses by using those bottled up items.
