Travel is my passion and I honestly love getting out of Pittsburgh and traveling. You know how you become too familiar with your surroundings and just need out? I get antsy if I am not out and about a few times a month, it is just me!
My latest travels have taken me from Pittsburgh to the Poconos and Pittsburgh to Erie. My road tripping with the Kia Cadenza Limited and allows me to get intimately familiar with this ride.
Buckle up, and get ready to learn all about road tripping with the Kia Cadenza Limited. Get behind the telescopic wheel and drive. Lavishly live life on the road from the inside out with Kia Cadenza Limited. My road trips offer scenery, excitement, family adventures and lots of shopping!
Road Tripping with the Kia Cadenza
I was provided the KIA Cadenza in exchange for my honest opinion. The story, images, and content are based on my experiences behind the wheel and on the road. Look at those shiny 19″ Dark Satin Alloy Wheels, they just add sassiness to the car.
First Impressions Matter
When I first laid eyes on the 2017 KIA Cadenza all I saw was incredible 4 door sedan that glistened in the sun. The Granite Brown paint really offers sharp exterior styling.
TECH TO LOVE
My Samsung Galaxy 8 loves this car because it wirelessly charges. No matter where I go, my phone charges as we drive!
Road Tripping
To Fiestaware in West Virginia, via OHIO on a totally crazy bridge/
The Navigation system offered this 8″ touchscreen and a rear camera. I heart this nav system because by far it is the most user-friendly system. We are off on our first trip to the Great Wolf Lodge!
Traveling is what I do often and I have to be comfortable in a car. The Kia Cadenza was my soul mate on the highway. The 3.3L Gas Direct Injection V6 Engine never lets me down. Each acceleration call is met with a firm resoluteness, meeting my request. Our first trip is from the hills of Pittsburgh to the mountainous region of the Poconos. Look at our new driver in our KIA.
How about a steering wheel that was both power tilt & telescoping with memory! Do you see how all the things I needed are right at my fingertips? The radio, the cruise control, phone calls, volume, etc. Did I mention the steering wheel is heated?
BRAKING
Auto hold is the ruler of all things braking!
4 options of drive style: Sport, Eco, Smart, and Comfort.
SMART MODE
Smart driving mode actually learns my driving habits, from my shifting response due to road conditions to turning behaviors. It’s incredible. I just believe that the car should know me as well as I know it, and that makes a level playing field for review. Also because of the amount of highway driving, and the amount of construction on the highway I really need to feel in command, so I used Smart Mode.
SPORT MODE
Sport Mode offers a more responsive throttle and I use this for some highway driving (which was often). I feel that the KIA is most responsive in this mode while on the highway (IMO). Sport Mode it has some serious pull to it made less sense in some places we were traveling.
ECO MODE
ECO, sorry I am not that girl, so I do not drive in this mode. Basically, there is a slight delay of starting from a stop light, etc, when in ECO. After all, the Eco Mode is meant for a slightly lower engine output, so the expect lag. For most, it would not be a big deal, but this Type A girl just wants to be first in the driving line. ECO mode simply is not my gig. Do remember, that ECO mode will provide you with a nice increase in gas mileage.
COMFORT MODE
Perhaps you want the vehicle to function, without having to make adjustments. Use the Comfort Mode. Comfort Mode compliments shifting no matter manual or automatic transmission. Shifting up or down does not make the ride feel differently. Use this mode if you have kids or pets that like less ‘felt’ movements when driving and need their naps as demo’d above. LOL!
Speaking of comfort…
My Overview
Get inside the vehicle, and learn a little bit more about the amenities the 2017 Kia Cadenza offers.
EXTERIOR
Dark nights of autumn are upon us, so the LED Headlights and Fog lights were extremely helpful as I navigated the way through the hills. We were ‘high beamed’ so many times but my beams were not on. The lights are magnificently brilliant. One feature I believe is missing is the auto high beam, but I worked around that on dark, untraveled roads, manually shifting from high beam to regular beam.
PASSENGER SEATING
You can see there was plenty of passenger seating as demoed by the 3 stowaways from the Poconos trip at the Great Wolf Lodge. The passenger seating included heated rear outboard seats, and it was perfect because it was only 50° outside.
The comfortable seating White Nappa leather seat trim and it is sharp to look at against the black detailing. The front seat had heated and ventilated front seats.
CARGO SPACE
This trunk was amazing, I love that if I want to crack it to a point and stop it I can, watch.
Hello, trunk. After each trip, we needed to restock the house and we filled up the KIA Cadenza without any issues. Take a peek.
No matter where our adventures led us, KIA was our ride. Excellent on the road, a quiet interior cabin, excellent seat adjustment controls and so much more. The KIA Cadenza Limited is loaded with features. This one is $45,290.00. Every feature I craved is in here. Get there in style and lavishly live life out loud on your next road trip inside a Kia Cadenza Limited.
