It’s that time of year when cheer comes by the glass and no one passes up the chance to try the lovely and spirited libations that are creatively crafted at parties.
Holiday beverages spark emotion, happiness and bring on great tidings.
A holiday tradition in my home is to spend one night each weekend at home and attend our own family party.
Our parties are celebrated with freshly curated beverages and festive eats. After recently experiencing some of the most delicious Peach Bellini’s while dining out.
Get as fruity as you want with this drink, as the color just intensifies.
Really, this drink just screams, “Hello Holidays!”
I set out to craft my own rendition with a little built-in holiday spirit and so was born the Snow-Kissed Strawberry Bellini.
Lavishly live holiday libation out loud and test out my snow-kissed Strawberry Bellini.
Snow-Kissed Strawberry Bellini
The snow-kissed effect comes from the Prosecco bubbling up and creating a lovely white snowy topping, as good to look at as it is to taste! Cheers.
Truly a bit of snow-kissed sparkle in this cocktail with a lot of colors. My favorite part of the drink is the flavor.
It’s different than most holiday drinks and of course, you can add more fruit if you have someone who loves strawberries (me!)
Ingredients – Snow-Kissed Strawberry-Bellini
In so many ways, this reminds me of the consistency of slush, yet it’s not.
Rather it is more frothy, which I think is what most like about it!
It’s refreshing and still celebrates a vivid libation!
Ingredient Shopping List
1 Bottle of Prosecco (brand of your preference is fine)
Strawberries– 16 oz container – Pureed – (leave 4 for garnish)
17 Oz Bottle of Sparkling Ice Strawberry Lemonade
Crushed Ice -2 C
2 Tbsp Lemon
3 Tbsp Sugar
The Method
So if you are looking for a really easy drink to create in front of guests, this is the one.
The methodology is fail-safe and even if you’ve had a few yourself, you will still manage to get this drink together just fine, LOL!
Clean the strawberries, and remove tops ( except reserve 4 of the best with the hull still on as you will use this to garnish).
Puree cleaned strawberries, sugar, and lemon. Remove.
Crush ice until smooth consistency. Remove.
Now, in the blender (Ninja) add in 4 oz each: Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade Ice, ice puree, Prosecco, and berries, & pulse blend for 15 seconds.
At the bottom of a tall glass (wine or champagne) a 1 oz Prosecco.
Now add the bellini mixture, and top with 1 oz more of prosecco (this creates the snow-kissed effect)
Add a strawberry to garnish, drink and enjoy.
Lavishly live the season out loud, enjoy and cheers.
*remember friends, don’t let a friend drive drunk. Alcohol should be consumed responsibly and only by those of age. Pregnant women should not drink alcohol. Remember your limits and hand your keys over. This post is not about the promotion of drinking alcohol rather a recipe to use if crafting beverages.
