Additionally for those that are wanting a challenge but prefer to test their fear of heights, take on the Wind Walker where you dangle over the rim of the Williams Canyon while climbing throughout a 3 obstacle course. Note that you are looking down at a 600 foot drop!
Adrenaline Junkies
The Terror-Dactyl is here, and the only thing you need to do to invest in this ride is to overcome your own fears. It’s an over-the-top experience for anyone who wants a surge of adrenaline! Your ride takes you over 150 feet into the canyon at 100 miles per hour. It’s all about the free fall drop and losing your belly if you dare!
SEVEN FALLS – Stunning
Who? Family, Solo, Girls Getaway, and Adrenaline.
Not one, but Seven Falls, because everything outdoors in Colorado Springs is about going big or going home! The Broadmoor Seven Falls is a series of waterfalls, that provide a spill of over 181 feet. The waterfalls are enveloped by cliffs. The Broadmoor Seven Falls are on the National Geographic’s list of International Waterfalls – how is that for going big? Speaking of big, don’t forget to stare at the Pillars of Hercules as they frame the canyon. You won’t be able to miss them, but now you know that they have a proper name. The Pillars of Hercules are over 900 feet above the canyon floor.
Tip: Make sure to take the 224 step staircase to the top of the falls.
PIKES PEAK COG RAILWAY – Stunning & Adventurous
Railway Anyone? Ascend 14,115 feet, going past waterfalls, pine forests and pristine scenery, you never know what you will see. The Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cog Railway is the world’s HIGHEST. The railway ride is perfection to take in the outdoors from the incredible setting and educational. Families, friends, groups and even those adrenaline seekers can all mark world’s highest cog railway off their bucket lists! FOUND!
Tip: The Broadmoor Pikes Peak Cog Railway is currently closed for repairs and will reopen in spring 2018.
