One thing we ALL have in common when we travel is a love of food. From long morning walks on the beach, until late morning escapades, hungry will rumble your belly!
Do you know that the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand is 60 miles long? If you answered ‘No’ you are like the rest of us. Why am I asking you that question?
Whatever area you are staying in, from the Northern (Barefoot’s Landing area) Surfside Beach, or Pawleys Islands there are a plethora of places to try for lunch.
Don’t be shy, get in your car and seek out fabulous Southern Food. Part of your vacation is finding the best of in food, and I am about to share where to find Fabulous Southern Food on Pawleys Island. Pick up that napkin, it’s time to dig in.
Seeking Great Eats Right Off of Ocean Highway in Myrtle Beach
The destination you are seeking is off of Ocean’s Highway, on Pawleys Island. You are seeking a restaurant for lunch, called the Rustic Table.
Now to be fair, you need to know that it does get busy, as many know about it. However, that’s my rule of thumb when gaging where to eat. ‘The busier, the better!’
There is outdoor and indoor seating, as well as a bar area.
Guilty as charged is all I can say because I love to ruin my meals with starters. Then there is no way to finish my entree. But, who could pass up, Southern Fried Pickles, and Warm Brie and Pear Honey?
Not I! Without a doubt
After all, if you are going to lunch, and eat a bit more than normal, you have the rest of the day to walk it off, shopping, and having Myrtle Beach adventures, right?
Smear that brie and pear honey onto the crusty, slant-sliced bread and don’t forget to lick your fingers Y’all!
To keep my meal, simple and more or less ‘clean’, I ordered their Wedge, with blackened shrimp, iceberg lettuce, with blue cheese.
But, I did not stop there. I spied Fried Green Tomatoes on the menu and had to have them as well. What I did not know is that a side order is 4 slices big, not just 2. So I did the logical thing and shared them with the table.
I would love to have had this salad with Fried Green Tomato on it. That’s just how I normally eat, and those Fried Green Tomatoes were ‘da bomb’!
Now you know where to find delicious lunches and you could say, that you FOUND Your Myrtle Beach. #FindYourMyrtleBeach #MyMyrtleBeach
