5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To Use

April 21, 2020 By Dana Vento 1 Comment

I’d like to thank the RYOBI brand for providing the free product I am about to share with you.

Dana behind self-propelled mower by RYOBI

RYOBI gifted me, a self-propelled mower with 5 features that make it effortless to use!

To most, a mower with strong, yet simple features is not a luxury product.

But to me, this self-propelled mower has features that make it luxurious in my eyes.

My story reads similarly to a lot of you reading my site: taking over the mowing after years of not!

The notion of easier is better as long as I have to surrender nothing, provides me the, I can have it all without compromise in this mower.

You might say it’s not possible to capture everything a mower needs to be in one tool, but RYOBI’s self-propelled mower keeps things in stride!

Let’s just say that the 5 features that make my self-propelled mower effortless to use are verdant virtue.

Green excellence in every aspect from less noise to no gas pollution emissions.

Ready. Set. Mow?

5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To UseA beautiful lawn does not happen by itself, but always having the ‘cutting edge’ does help.

This is why choosing the

is the best gift I could give myself.

I am not going to just cut my lawn, I am going to manicure it because there are 5 features that make the mower effortless to use!

Let’s get to the 5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To Use!

My Story Will Be Your Story, If It’s Not Already

RYOBI 40v 21" brushless self-propelled mower3 kids and a home, 2 boys and a girl.

Now, it’s not this way.

It seems like all of my children have gone from toddlers to teens in a blink of an eye, more like in a gust of wind.

Each of the boys used to be the ones to cut the lawn, weekly, and usually twice weekly.

Life, however, has changed and each of the boys has different responsibilities.

One is preparing for a career in nursing, while the other is extensively involved in athletics and high school which is also demanding.

Further, both work hard on their education to be the best that they can be, in addition to each holding down jobs.

Needless to say, this all leaves very little home time and that is how life works for most families.

Now, I’m the mom, left with a home sitting on a large amount of property that needs to be mowed.

Moreover, I have to mow at least once a week, if not twice a week, since we live in an association.

Yard Work, Mowing and Me: Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To Use

5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To Use working to put battery in A little gift from the demons known as arthritis, and plantar fasciitis from over-exertion is really not a gift, but a curse making lawn-mowing rough.

Walking hurts, pushing a mower is worse.

I never know which days will be good and which bad, but I do know that the lawn waits for no one.

Green and mean, I must mow or be written up by the lovely HOA (homeowners association).

40V 21″ Brushless Self-Propelled Mower With 7Ah Battery and Charger

5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To UseIf I look happy, I am.

How could I not be?

My RYOBI mower has a lot to offer and it’s to remove the bag.

#1 – 40v. Not Yank. Pull. Pray & it’s a self-propelled mower?

Dana and RYOBI mower Yank. Pull. Look around.

No one saw that the mower did not start right?

That was how things used to be done, on the other mower we have.

Pull to start and pray that it did, are not my thing.

Then, I watched my neighbors doing the same thing.

Yank. Pull. Pray.

How about this instead.

Charge battery.

Load battery.

Key loaded into the battery compartment to start.

Touch a button to start.

Really?

RYOBI 40v 21" brushless self-propelled mower

Can it be that easy?

Now, I’ll gladly look over my shoulder at all the neighbors that don’t have this easy touch start mower!

I think they all need to stop using their mowers as rowing machine workouts and get this 40V 21″ BRUSHLESS SELF-PROPELLED MOWER.

#2 – Life Should be Adjustable. Self-Propelled Mower Effortless Work

Bale handle on RYOBI Mower When you get behind the wheel of the newer cars, they are more effortless to drive behind.

Why? There are simple bells & whistles like blind-spot monitoring, lane-changing sensors, etc.

Shouldn’t your mower be as effortless?

My RYOBI self-propelled mower is effortless.

In fact, I can walk as slow or as fast as I choose because it’s self-propelled and has rear-wheel drive for great traction.

Self-propelled speed ranges from minimum to maximum and depending on how I am feeling is how I determine the speed of use that day!

If my feet are aching, it’s easy does it, but if it’s an I feel perfect, then it’s maximum speed ahead to get the job done faster!

#3 – Don’t Cramp My Style and Steal My Storage Space

I’m buckling over in happiness with this feature on my self-propelled effortless mower: telescopic collapsible handle.

When I am done using my mower for the day, I simply collapse the handles and fold them over the mower.

Storage space is not sucked up by the handles, rather it’s just the length of the mower now!

I put the bag on top, close up the shed and go on my way!

Nothing hard hear or you might call it ‘effortless’.

#4 Mulching or Bagging

RYOBI lawn catching bag What do you want to do with your grass clipping?

Do you prefer to mulch or bag and drag?

Whatever it is you choose to do, your self-propelled mower makes it effortless to choose.

Watch the video to see how easy it is to make the change from bagging to mulching

#5 Gas Stations are For Cars Not Mowers

key to start mower by RYOBII’ll never go to the gas station for my mower again.

No more toting gas cans in the car, trunk or bed of a truck.

I’m done.

No more spills, no more issues with gas starting the mower or oil mixtures.

My hands won’t smell of gasoline from a hard-days work and there’s a little less air pollution.

Why?

The RYOBI 40V battery with 7ah is how I will roll, my mower that is.

Instead of gas, I charge a battery.

There’s no need to be in the midst of cutting and run out of gas.

Rather, I have a spare battery (you can buy one or if you have other 40v RYOBI Tools they are compatible as are the chargers!).

Game-changer!

The best 2 words to sum this mower up!

Also, it does not ROAR like a LION when it runs, it’s got noise yes, but hardly is it ferocious like gas-driven mowers!

You Got This & So Do I

For me, even though the guys are not home, I can mow away and keep the Gods at the HOA happy that we have our lawn mowed 1-2x a week during peak season.

We all know, keeping the HOA Happy is the only thing that matters, lol, other than a ‘Happy Wife and Happy Life!’

Seems that I am both a happy homeowner and a happy wife!

Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To Use & The Punch Line

5 Features that Make my Self-Propelled Mower Effortless To UseToday, I saw a man slumped over a mower.  You know why?

He was going through a rough patch ~ anonymous!

That’s one thing you won’t have with this self-propelled mower that’s effortless to use.

No slumping, just a brisk walk behind a powerful gas-like power tool that keeps your lawn mean and green to the height you prefer!

You’ve got home turf advantage when using this mower.

Ready?

Set.

Mow! ~Dana XO
